I am from out of town and decided to support a local florist to send flowers to my mom for her 60th birthday. (I always use 1800flowers) After what seemed like hours and hours of looking for the perfect bouquet to send my mom, I came accross the European Terrance and could not have felt that I found the most perfect bouquet! With a 4.9 star review, I was so confident I was going to be sending my mom the perfect flowers!! Well, to my surprise... I heart-breakly, shockingly, and unbelievably was wrong!!
I chose the "premium" choice, which costed me an extra $22 from the "standard" ($77)
It honestly feels like the florist chose a different bouquet, with stargazers, hot pink daisies and what seriously looks like 'random flowers/foliage' and then "added" the flowers that the European Terrance was advertised as. (One purple flower, ONE green foliage. Omg it looks so ridiculous!)
I feel completely cheated. I paid extra 22$ to get a bouquet that isn't even as pictured, and is complete opposite of what they offered! Not even the foliage!!
Not to mention, they are completely over priced!! I thought the extra money would ensure a phenomenal job!!
Let the pictures speak for themselves.
It's not the same bouquet, and I expect the minimum of a price difference from the standard price, and my "support local florist" $10 fee I was forced to pay, back. so roughly $32. This is not even a standard $77 boquet!! The details with the foliage and how the flowers popped with all that greenery was what I was hoping for... and I was ripped off! Not even the roses were added in! Instead stargazers and pink daisies and other random flowers were added in instead!! Thats so cheap!!
and if this post is still here, it means owner has not done dillegence.
I understand support your local businesses, which is exactly what I tried to do, but that doesn't mean you take advantage of people who do online orders. I have extreme anxiety talking with people over the phone and this was supposed to be an easy, and painless experience!
I wouldn't be upset if they at least did the foliage and made it look "bigger" but there was one of each flowers from the origin bouquet I chose! How peofessional!! I get adding a few extra flowers but to make a completely different bouquet is uncalled for! I ordered the flowers on a Saturday, to be delivered on a Tuesday! If you didn't have the flowers, you have my phone number to contact me to make proper changes!
If you decide to order from this florist, express in the directions "make as pictured" or else they will give a shock for your money and give you what you don't want. Actually, they will give you opposite of what stands out about the...
Read moreSoooooo disappointed!!!! I ordered flowers to be delivered to my sister in law who was at the Neuro Trauma ICU in Portland with a brain tumor. I ordered on Sunday with a next day delivery. The arrangement was beautifully made and delivered on Monday as expected. The unfortunate part was that the hospital did not get the flowers to her until after she was discharged late that day to get direct radiation and chemo. The flower shop did their part, however when I called on Tuesday to say that she never got the flowers the shop owner was basically like, well I did my job and they were delivered. It's on the hospital, which I won't dispute. However, my sister in law never got the flowers and now is in Salem. While I know that the owner did make the arrangement and did have them delivered, she is a business owner and should have at least met me 1/2 way. I would have gladly placed another order and had them shipped again. But instead she just said that I would have to replace the same order and then pay extra for shipping because she is now in Salem. It felt very one sided, not understanding a grieving family who just spend good money on flowers that were never received. I have been a business owner for over 40 years in California and there are times you just eat it, make it right for the customer no matter whose fault it is because its part of doing business. Had she done this, I would have had my Oregon family give her more business but now?... No way! I even said to her, isn't there anything you can do to help me out? and she just said, Ive already done everything that I can. Unfortunately, she did not. With this type of non-customer service, I wish her business well. The moral to this story is: Just make things right for customers-ALWAYS. Even if you have to eat part of your profits to do so. She has a...
Read moreI had the BEST experience with Wishing Well, and Selena in particular.
I ordered a floral arrangement for a co-worker that was having surgery, I made the order online and didn't really give another thought to it.
Very soon after my order I received a call from Selena to let me know that the hospital room my co-worker was in, was in the ICU and they would not allow patients to have flowers in there so she said she would call up to the hospital each day to see when he was in a room where he could receive the arrangement, now that is AMAZING customer service if you ask me and the week before Valentines day! WOW!!!
The next day he was moved and she had the flowers sent before I could call to tell them! Selena also let me know the bouquet I ordered had lilies which St Vincent Hospital does not allow so she substituted something just as beautiful.
I just want to say the attention to detail and care this shop showed is top notch! I am someone who cares deeply about small business's, shopping & supporting local business', but most of all GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, which by my standards seems to be a lost art!
Wishing Well is not just great, they are SUPERB, OUTSTANDING, & I will absolutely use their services again and recommend them to anyone and everyone I can!
Thank you so much Selena & team! Your care and attention to detail, especially in your craft, is something not found often and I want you to know how much it is...
