Beware! Hidden charges and damaged hair! As you can see below in my daughter's review she was charged over $500 for an appointment she made for highlights. More importantly, her hair was severely damaged so badly that her bangs fell off! You can see the response from the salon owner which are complete lies. No one ever advised her of additional charges. My daughter is a college student and would have never agreed to pay over $500 for highlights ahead of time. Also she would have NEVER agreed to take the slightest chance of her bangs falling off. For the owner to say that is outrageous! The owner also stated in response to my daughter's review, that we could have contacted her to make a resolution instead of posting the truth on social media...this is also a lie because we did contact her directly as soon as the service was completed. Her response was completely cold and uncaring and she refused to make any resolution saying she was "prepared to protect her business" and legal support. I will paste her exact text message below. The salon was basically completely vacant when we went, I can't image this place staying in business. I would beware of all the positive reviews she has because in my opinion they are fake or AI generated. Be prepared to pay over $500 if want highlights - no where on her entire website does it tell you this!
This was the owners response by text message when we contacted her for a resolution:
Service Details:
Full Highlights: $220+ (based on hair length and density)

If a legal dispute is your intention, we are fully prepared to protect our business with proper documentation and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn 2022, I purchased extensions through this salon and had them removed later on. I was told the salon would hold onto them until I was ready to have them reinstalled. I continued to visit this salon for over a year. In 2023, the stylist who did my hair left the salon. This year, when I called to pick up my extensions, I was told they didnāt have them. I explained how expensive they were, and I was told, āThatās between you and the stylist. She no longer works here.ā When I contacted the stylist, she assured me the extensions were safe at the salon, as they should be since the transaction was with the salon.
I called back a week later and spoke with the same man, who was consistently ill-tempered and rude in every interaction. He said they found one weft. I asked if anything could be done since I had paid for three wefts, and he replied, "Uh, you can find someone to sew it into your head." Eventually, my husband went to the salon to explain the situation to someone else. The same man who I had been in contact with was there. The person my husband explained the situation to went to speak to him for a moment and he was rolling his eyes and clearly annoyed. Then, miraculously, they then found all three wefts, but they were damagedāone was cut shorter than the others and all were in poor condition.
I'm not sure what the man's issue was or why he insisted the extensions didnāt exist and it wasnāt his problem, but it seems like they were being used at my expense. Hopefully heās not scamming other customers of the salon and treating them with such an entitled attitude, for the sake of the salonās reputation. I will never return...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just had the most uncomfortable experience at a hair salon ever. I was originally scheduled with Jordan who has done my hair before. 2 hours before my scheduled appointment I was told he wasnāt going to be able to service me at the given time. I asked if I was able to be seen by anyone else because it was my only day off and they put me in a chair with Juan Carlo. His first question was if I wanted him to wash my hair, I have literally never not gotten a wash before a cut, even as a child at super cuts. We washed, sat down, and he asked what I wanted for a cut. The rest of the cut was SO UNCOMFORTABLE. My hair was parted funny as he began cutting and I asked if we could fix it before proceeding. He then tells me, āIāve been cutting hair for 20 years, I know what Iām doing.ā (Mind you, he repeated that to me at least 3 more times throughout the cut.) At one point I noticed his finger was bleeding, his blood just gliding through my hair. I was mortified. He put a glove on it, finishing cutting and then began blow drying. Not one bit of leave in conditioner or heat protectant. I asked if he could possibly grab some before continuing and I was met with more uncomfortable comments as he spritzed my hair a few times and continued. Currently, my hair is completely dehydrated, lazily blow dried and not at all what I wanted. I couldnāt get out of the chair fast enough. That being said, I will be finding another salon...
