The Chop Shop West Palm — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

I was looking for someplace in West Palm Beach that had really good burgers. After driving around for 10 minutes I finally found The Chop Shop tucked away in the left side of the Texaco gas station at the corner of Palm Beach Lakes and Village Blvd. Well what I found was not just a good burger but a place that actually makes the best real authentic cheesesteak I've had outside of Philadelphia where cheesesteaks originated and where I grew up. The roll was perfect, the steak was real beef cooked just right with onions and peppers, then topped with sliced American white cheese. No Cheese Whiz here!!! No No No!!!! We also tried their Hot Honey Pepperoni Flatbread, which my husband couldn't stop eating. These guys are super nice and serious about the foods they offer. They have a great menu that includes salads and wraps, and delicious garlic parsley tater tots. And their service and kitchen with a real pizza oven was very neat and clean. Needed to get a quick to-go dinner on our way to our hotel pre-cruise and this hit the spot! Tommy and John hooked us up and got us back on our way with a bag of delicious food that we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend the Tripleta my husband and I both got and my kiddos loved their smash burger & chopped cheese. Would have loved to have tried more, especially the flatbreads, but the portions were already ample—I even enjoyed my leftover Tripleta cold in the hotel room for breakfast. This section of West Palm has a lot of great food options, but the chop shop fills a greatly need role as a good Philly and burger joint that isn't just a corporate franchise. The shop is located in a gas station, but don't let that disuade you, the food is of proper restaurant quality and the gas station itself clean and lively.

The service has been great, they are very friendly, a nice change of pace from usual places.
