We love Red Lopster, but we had one disappointment after another at this location. Parking was easy. When we walked in there was an old carpet smell. There wasn't really anyone there yet customer wise, but no one was at the front to host, we waited maybe 5 minutes for an employee to come to the host desk and then we were seated right away. As soon as we were seated we notices the walls and other furniture right away. There was stuff all over them, it looked like food splatters and boogers. We were going to ask for a different booth but when I went to look it was everywhere else too. We stayed anyway because the table itself was clean and the floors were clean for the most part. Some of our silverware had food and oily spots on then though, but we were able to find 1 clean fork for each of us. The menus had food on them too. It was 10min before the waitress came to the table just to get our drink order, she was really nice though. As she took our drink order we went ahead and ordered everything else too. We ordered the lopster-artichoke-seafood dip, a bowl of lobter bisque, the ultimate feast, fried rainbow trout, shrimp linguine alfredo, 2 virgin sunset passion coladas, and a vanilla bean cheese cake. The dip came out hot and tasted great, looked exactly like the picture. After getting our appetizer she finally brought us some biscuits, but some were smushed and broke apart. The bowl of lopster bisque was thick and tasted good but came out warm, not hot like is should. For the ultimate feast everything tasted fine except the crab legs, they tasted old with a foul smell. The fried rainbow trout tasted ok, nothing special. The shrimp linguine alfredo was part of the unlimited shimp promotion, so the first one I received was good, but really small in portion, second one only had 3 shrimp, and the third portion the noodles were not cooked all the way. We also got 2 virgin sunset passion colodas and they were disappointing. Normally they are topped with fruit. Our first one a had a torn up cherry on top, it looked as if it was chewed. Our second one didn't have any fruit on it at all and tasted like a pina colada like the first one and to top it off we were charged 10 dollars and some change for each one. Last, but not least is the vanilla bean cheese cake, it looked great and tasted great. Bathrooms smelt like airfreshener and were clean. Overall, there are many issues needing to be addressed and fixed. We have been to many Red Lopsters and love there food and drinks, but would not recommend this particular...
Read moreDO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION!!! I was treated HORRIBLY at this location last night!!! I have been a faithful customer my whole life!!! Have ALWAYS loved Red Lobster and spent thousands of dollars there over the years but I had the most horrible, offensive and disappointing experience EVER at the West Palm Beach location!!! Been coming to the area 3 weeks in the row for medical eye appointments at Bascom Palmer and visited this location each time spending well over $100 and tipping VERY GENEROUSLY!!! Last night I felt sick after eating the lobster in the ultimate feast, threw it up in the restroom and felt too sick to continue eating. Told the manager what happened to me & he showed ABSOLUTELY no concern for my health or well being!!! NEVER apologized!!! NEVER asked if I was OKAY!!! Questioned my integrity by repeatedly asking me if I was sure I felt sick!!! What??? Are you freaking kidding me??? Asked me 3 times , back to back, “are you sure”??? Then told me that in order to take the meal off the bill he would have to take the remaining food that came with my meal and I would not be able to pack anything up to go!!! That was no problem because I didn’t want it anyway since I got sick but he STILL NEVER inquired about my health nor did he EVER apologize for my suffering!!! I have been up all night running to the bathroom, think I might have food poisoning and the manager could not care less if I dropped dead in the middle of the restaurant!!! The lack of concern is obvious, blatant and atrocious!!! I am a highly decorated, retired military veteran with 32 years of distinguished and honorable service!!! I would NEVER lie about a meal to avoid paying but that is EXACTLY how the manager treated me!!! As if I was trying to skip out on the bill!!! I have NEVER been so offended, disappointed and upset at any other restaurant!!! Absolutely disgusting, appalling and unacceptable treatment from a manager!!! As a sidebar, the greeter and the wait staff is always great!! They apologized and showed concern for my well being. The manager, Chad, lacks leadership, empathy, tact, respect and customer service skills!!! He needs to be FIRED immediately!!! I will NEVER visit this location again!!! And it will be a very LONG time before I visit any other location either!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE treatment of loyal lifelong...
Read moreWell my sister wanted to take our mom out for dinner. And of course me being an excellent critique of restaurant venues I knew what was going to happen before it happened. When we first arrived the hostess told us that there would be a 15 minute wait so my sister asked her could we sit at the bar area the hostess said sure. So we sat at the bar the bartender came over and took everyone's drink orders. My sister and her co-worker friend and myself asked for iced water with lemon and my mom ordered a glass of wine and I ordered a margarita. So he gave me my margarita and gave my mom her glass of wine. So I looked at my glass and noticed that there was something red stuck to the inside of my glass so I put my straw inside the glass to scrape off whatever it was. So at this point I'm peeved and no longer wanted the drink. So the waitress came over to the bar and asked us would we prefer to sit at a table or a booth so we said booth so we moved to a booth. We sat to the booth and waited and waited. We sat 30mins before the waitress came over to take our orders. So we sat another 30 minutes trying so hard to be patient my mom became agitated my sister became agitated. I'm like this lady hasn't offered us any biscuits or salads while our food was being prepared or nothing I said we should have just gone to Park Avenue ribs for dinner this place has very poor service and they are very short staffed and they hire all these young people who don't have common courtesy or good manners. These melanated girls with all this false hair and those spider lashes on their face and all that make up on their face they just look so ridiculous with all that stuff just to work as a server in a restaurant. It's just too damn ghetto to me. No bonnets on their heads to keep hair from falling into your food and drinks. All I gotta say that Red Lobster is definitely not what it used to be not a manager circulating the place to make sure the employees are doing their jobs correctly and make sure the customers are provided good service. And the situation with the glasses and things being properly cleaned. to be honest that Red Lobster should be closed down permanently they're not getting any better at all. I am never going back to that dreadful place again. Sincerely very...
