SO HUMILIATED! Today, on Mother's Day I went in this store with my son to buy myself and him some clothes. I looked at a display of clothes right on top of the rack it had 50% off when you buy one at regular price, so I grab a few shirts for my son, when I went to pay the cashier told me they were ringing at regular price each one at $34.99 each. I did purchase them for my son then I went back and I asked the cashier to come and look at the rack where it had 50% off display, so she came with me and very nicely she said "you are right" and she called the manager Vanessa. The manager came and she told me that the shirts were not on sale, it was the pants behind the shirts (the sale sign was on top of the shirts) and I told her in a very nice way that they should move the shirts from that rack because it was very confusing to the consumer. Right away she took an attitude with me and told me she was not going to move anything because I was suppose to read the small print saying what was the brand that was on sale (very difficult to understand which is which if you are not familiar with their brands). I told her that it was wrong to have the sale sign in the same rack and I believe they should move them so other customers won't get confused like me, she told me with an attitude that's the way her company wants her to display it. I told her in a very nice way that I thought this was the same concept as "bate and switch" which is illegal and that's when she got very upset and asked me to leave the store, even though I was very calm and collected, she kept telling me "have a nice day and leave" I asked her why she was telling me to leave when I was not done shopping and was not been rude, loud or threaten her in anyway shape or form, but she told me to leave or she would call security on me, I was in shock and the cashier too, she was the one that was disrupting the other shopper and my son. That manager was very disrespectful to me, the nice cashier when I asked her to give me the name of the manager so I could call corporate to put a complaint, she screamed at her in front of other customers waiting in line not to give me her name and that she was going to call security because I was still at the store. Other customers they came outside to me and told me that they were so sorry for the way that manager treated me and the cashier, specially on mother's day and in front of my son. I've been a good customer to AEO, but after this experience I will never shop at their stores again after been treated the way I was. In my whole 56 year of life, I have never been thrown out of a place, I have always been respectful of everyone and I think there are some people that take their position of authority to their heads. I am also a manager and I would never abuse my position, it is bad for the company. I would not recommend anyone to go to this store or any of AEO stores unless they change the way they treat people and the way they use their displays as they are deceiving by putting the sales signs in the wrong racks on purpose, that it was she told me, that corporate wants it that way. BAD BUSINESS...

Read moreThis place has forever lost my business. Today I was shopping here with my mother while she was in town. Excited and having a great time my day was smashed when my wallet was stolen and $500 was taken from it. When at Forever 21 none of the employees offered any help at all, any solace, or even bothered to check. I sprinted to the previous store to see if I left it on the counter because Forever 21 would have checked, right? No. Then I came back to Forever 21 and asked them to check. The first employee shook his head without even looking. The second checked and my wallet was there and my months savings (I intended to go to the bank) gone. There is no feeling like that of complete helplessness knowing that no one cares enough to help you. The security at the outlet checked the tapes and three kids had dropped it on the floor and went immediately to the parking lot likely to divvy up their earnings with a gigantic satisfaction that makes my skin crawl. It is clear to me now that this place is already on the steady decline similar to that of it's predecessor the Palm Beach Mall which closed down due to the lack if business caused by a large number of robberies. They offered to file a police report which would accomplish absolutely nothing but wasting another hour of my day while they could explain to me that the hard earnings of a waitress paying her way through college would likely not be recovered. I have another month of struggling to look forward to because pratically nothing could be done to recover my lost money. The security guard then said "You'll earn it back in two weeks." Because money grows on trees. I'm disgusted. And before anyone tells me it' my own fault, no it's not. I shouldn't worry about being robbed in two the hours between lunch and the bank. Never,...
