Mercado Loco — Attraction in West Sacramento

Today I had one of the worst experiences ever. I come here at least once’s a week since it opened. I’m a regular costumer by the way. I stopped by to pick up some tostadas for dinner. Mind u I had $5 in cash and I said well I’ll just use this and the rest on my card. (Chase) I got to the cashier she was nice a young new one by the way. Told her $5 in cash and the rest on my card. She asked is it chase I said yeah she responded by saying I don’t know why it doesn’t work it’s an out going issue. so I tried another way and it wasn’t going through. I said let me go get some change from my card cus I was short $1.99 and she said ok. As I’m walking out I said go ahead and help the next consumer. Once’s I gather up my change i found another card and I told her hey just get this and add the rest on this card. I said I don’t wanna drive all the way home to get cash. She looked at me and another older lady who’s name is Angie yeah the one with the big ol mole on her face intervine and said just give it to her with a huge attitude I said no I want to pay for it . She was like no just take it I said why can’t I pay for it so it was back and forth. Whatever she tried to kick me out and yelled for Eliseo I believe he is the higher authority there. I said no worries I’ll talk to him to. And as I walked there and tried to tell him what happened the old lady pressed after me just playing being disrespectful. I was in shock that the manager with a Smirk on his face was like I got this don’t worry the old lady walked off. I told him your going to let her talk to the costumer like that he said there’s nothing I can do. I said what really I said I want to speak to the owner he says there’s no way i can give you his contact number. I was in disbelief I’ve never been in a situation like that better yet disrespected luckily I do have some sort of respect for the elderly. He did ended up giving me the tostadas for what I had went through because apparently he couldn’t do much. Even if he talked to her nothing was really going to get down. I won’t ever go to that store again. I just feel bad because I know that if this happened to me this can...

Very disappointed with the cashier @ Mercado loco my mother came to me today because she said she had bought requeson from there a day ago and today she tried to eat it and had mold on it we went to see if they can exchange it for another one (never asked for money back) the Cashier was extremely rude and said to us we needed the receipt 🧾 .i asked to talk to the manager and she refused to contact him for me and just turned her back on me.. . a worker there had told my mother a few months ago when my mom had bought some coconuts that where rotten from there that if anything like that happened to her again to bring them in they would exchange it... mind you we have been consumers ever since they opened this location I feel like that’s definitely not the way...
