The Exton station has a new look and complete renewal, thanks to the recent $27 million dollar renovation of the station facilities. The very pleasant station is easily accessible from Rt 100, Rt 30, and Rt 202 and is a stop on the SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Line and Amtrak Keystone. The renovations include a new platform and canopy plus a new station building, which is very much appreciated when the weather is a bit frigid. Very safe location. Well lit in the evening. Plenty of parking with 730 spots split between 4 parking lots. Just check train schedules before you travel and purchase tickets online in advance.

I’ve been coming to this station for over a decade, and using Amtrak for every ride; which has raised their rates drastically over the years, but no changes made - seems to be worse. This station has been under construction for over 5 years, and the facilities building has been completed for the past 3 years, but is never open. I see the bathrooms are being maintained, so I can’t imagine why it’s not open for use. It’s freezing, and I’m disappointed since they blocked the sun on the platform with this building lol smh but yet it’s not open. Trying to get answers and updates… you know how that goes 😑

This is a very decent park-and-ride station not too far from Exton. Its served by most Amtrak Keystone Service Trains, one daily EB Pennsylvanian and is a major station stop for SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale line

This is a SEPTA run station and there is precious little information about Amtrak, causing new users to question whether Amtrak even stops there. Overall it is designed for every day commuters and the first-timers are always confused. Lighting is good but no restrooms, no heat, no ticketing, not staffed, and by mid-morning most days no available parking. No services of any kind. Most trains do stop there but it is a low-level platform so you must climb onto the train unless prior arrangements have been made to use the handicapped ramp. Only costs a buck to park for a day (you park then pay at a meter by the platform for the space number, printed on the pavement, that you are using) but make sure you have quarters since the meters take no other form of payment. If you bring a roll of quarters you can leave your car for...
