I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Harold Robinson at Benari Jewelers in Exton, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. Harold is not only incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, but he genuinely cares — something that stood out from the very beginning.
He’s been in the jewelry business since he was 18, and it shows in the way he approaches every step of the process. Over the past few weeks, he’s helped me design and create my future wife’s dream engagement ring. Not once did I feel pressured or rushed. Harold was patient, honest, and completely focused on helping me find the perfect ring — one that felt right and meaningful.
We recently started the exciting process of purchasing a stunning 4.32 ct oval diamond on a unique and beautifully custom band. Harold has been quick to answer every question, get me accurate pricing, and make sure I felt confident each step of the way. On top of that, he’s also helping me secure the perfect Rolex for my wedding this summer, making this whole experience even more special.
One of the big reasons I chose Benari Jewelers in the first place was their reputation for excellent customer service and attention to detail. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this was a place where people really care about what they do and the customers they serve. That mattered to me — especially for such an important and meaningful purchase.
It also gave me peace of mind knowing Benari is part of Preferred Jewelers International — a nationwide network of trusted, independent jewelers committed to quality and customer satisfaction. One of the best perks? The Lifetime Nationwide Warranty. Whether I need cleaning, resizing, or repairs, I’m covered at any Preferred Jeweler across the country. That kind of coverage and trust goes a long way when you’re investing in something this special.
I’ll be following up soon with the final result of the ring — and I’m excited to share updates on my wedding band and Rolex as well. Stay posted — this journey is just...
Read moreI stopped in on a whim while running errands because I saw through their signage they were a Rolex AD and they happened to be the closest one to where I live. I was greeted by Claire and let her know I was looking to track down a handful of Rolex pieces. She took the time to let me try on the exhibition pieces in the store, made sure i liked them and added them to my list. With most AD's this is usually where the conversation ends but Claire assured me that when she could get them for me she would call.
A few weeks later I saw that Cartier had launched a Brown dial with the Santos line and I contacted Claire to see what the lead time would be to get one. Immediately, you could tell her enthusiasm for the brand and this line of watches specifically. She walked me through the heritage of the Santos as well as its unique capabilities (if you don't know, look up the bracelet system!) and while she didn't know when specifically the watch I wanted would come in, she let me come in and try on a similar style to make sure it was right for me. A week later, I got the call and she let me know the watch was mine if I wanted it. I came in the next day and it was a seamless transaction, the watch had all stickers on it (never made it to the case!) and was perfect. Claire let me know it was the first one they had gotten in and she was able to secure it for me.
All in all, this was a wonderful experience. I have bought MANY high end watches since I started collecting and they have varied greatly in experience, many times stuffy affairs that resulted in 1 time purchases from the establishment. I have to say that my experience with Claire and Benari was the absolute best. She was down to earth, communicative and pleasant. Not once did i feel like I was being pressured to buy something I didn't truly want or play the AD game to get the infamous call. I am excited to continue to work with Claire and her team for all my needs moving forward and can't wait to work with clear again to clear out...
Read moreUpdate: I increased the score to 3 stars as Joel did reach out to me almost immediately after posting. It is clear they care a lot about their customers and provide excellent service. That said, I still wish they would have been more transparent about their ability to provide "in demand" watches, particularly as it compares to larger dealers.
I want to say first and foremost that the employees here, particularly Joel, are very kind and genuine people(hence 2 stars instead of 1) but overall I have been disappointed with my experience. I live in Exton and went to Benari in Fall 2021 to register my interest with Joel for three Rolex watches: a Root Beer GMT, Daytona Oysterflex, and Blue Skydweller. I was told the GMT would be the most attainable, the Daytona probably not for a little while and the Skydweller would be tough but overall it definitely helps that I am a local living in the same township.
I reached out again 3-4 months later and was told no updates(it was a bit uncertain that he even recalled my requests, so I reiterated them). I have since reached out every 3-6 months and not been given much information. Fast forward to July of this year and a friend of mine requested a two-tone Daytona from another nearby dealer and received it within one month. Not a watch on my list but still a success story. I started to read reviews of Bucherer and saw someone had also requested a Root Beer from them in 2022 and gotten it within a year. Most frustratingly, I recently learned of someone that requested their GMT just this past summer and has now received it only some months later. All of these were obtained with zero purchase history.
I don't like to write negative reviews but it was very discouraging to learn I likely could have had one of these timepieces some time ago had I chosen a different path. I was excited to start what I hoped would be a multi-decade, multi-generational relationship with Benari but it has not panned...
