Edit post - I have not made multiple reviews. My husband did one after he heard the way you spoke to me over the phone but I wouldn’t call that multiple lol. Also you stated it’s been 2 weeks since my appointment.. it’s only been a week since I originally got them done and FIVE DAYS since I got them re done. Please refer to a calendar for an understanding. I will be receiving a refund one way or another, I’m already in contact with BBB thank you. I hope you tread lightly with future clients.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. I got a set of gel x nails on 01/26 less than 48 hours later I lost 4-5 nails. I came back in and allowed them to fix my nails and I will admit they physically looked better but here we are less than 5 days later and my nails are snapping off again. I’ve gotten gel x nails for years since they first came out and every set I’ve ever had has lasted me a month or longer. I can see that this shop is a chop shop. They do the work as fast as they can just to get the next person in the chair. After they started popping off the second time I called and spoke to the owner who is clearly a money hungry joke. He said they don’t do refunds and I can only come in when the people who messed my nails up are working. Why would I want the same people doing my nails? The owner aggressively told me that he’s the owner and he doesn’t know why the nails aren’t staying on. He goes on to blame the product instead of the artist themselves. Maybe you should use some of the money you steal from people and buy a better product. Now that I’m reading the rest of the reviews on this terrible chop shop I should’ve steered clear of it when celebrating my moms birthday. I spent over $200 here including tips on 01/26 and to not even offer a partial refund for this rediculous experience/service is outrageous. If you would like to avoid being scammed and actually get your moneys worth then I would avoid “Happy Nails” to the fullest. There is nothing “happy” about the experience I’ve had here. To the owner, maybe you should refrain from hanging up on customers who refuse to fall victim to the nail scam you have going on at this location. I will do everything in my power to make sure anyone I know never spends a...
Read moreWent in with my 15yo to be sure they they didn’t take advantage of her again - 70 dollars for nails that should have been 40. Communicated with 2-4 people that worked there to only do the 30 dollar balance. I got the “ok” and STILL the so called “owner” took it upon herself to ignore what I told her and do a 61 dollar balance instead. I called to express my frustrations and the so called owner proceeded to shout over me, “we can’t do anything about it.” I hadn’t asked for my money back- she must be used to those phone calls. Never again. Disrespectful, non listening, unprofessional thieves. Save your money and go to a professional salon- Posh Nails. I learned my lesson.
I walked in the store with my toddler, who hadn’t napped mind you, to be sure to let at least 3 people- one being you and at least two of your employees - a gentleman introduced as the manager or owner who uses the first desk and an older woman with the a bob and bangs. The three of you were well informed of what I expected considering you took advantage of my 15yo the last time. She came in for gel nails- gel nails are 1/3 less than what she came home with -some 70$ mix of acrylic and gel. I agreed to let her go back as long as I went in and let you all know I was her mother and she would be getting an acrylic balance. At the very, very least the gentleman 100% knew what I was saying. And I am 100% sure you did (the “owner”) because of how well you were speaking loudly over me when I called to let you know how unfortunate it was to hear that you would take advantage of my daughter for the second time. Even after I came in with my exhausted, almost impossible to wrangle toddler to let you all know what I wanted my daughter to have.
And you’re going to try to say I came in to agree on a 61 dollar balance for my 15yo. You know that’s untrue. To be honest I stopped reading what you said after I saw that you were willing to lie to save your face.
You need to check your morals. This is the season for new change. You should consider it. It is pathetic to steal from a 15yo.
I hope things get better for...
Read moreTook my from out of town niece and my daughter to get their nails done yesterday for a girls day. The gentleman that greeted us at the door was really friendly. We were hoping to be seated together so we could talk and enjoy time together that we don’t get often but someone had seated my niece at the other end of the salon. Which isn’t the end of the world but it was a bummer given that there was an empty seat next to myself and my daughter.
As far as our nails go, mine are already chipping and my thumbs look like two different shapes. They were just done yesterday morning. The tech even told me that what she was doing would make them last longer, I see that is not the case. It felt like she just rushed through the whole thing to get me out. I was told that my daughter’s nails would be $45, she even showed me on her phone that it would be $45. When we checked out I was charged $65. My niece said that her nail tech was rude, rough and wouldn’t talk to her at all. And didn’t shape her nails the way she asked. Spent nearly $300 on chipped, uneven nails and rushed out the door like they couldn’t be bothered. The only reason we chose this spot was because it was a last minute decision, it seemed to have the best reviews and our normal place was unavailable....
