Biggby Coffee Drive-thru — Restaurant in Westland

If I could give zero stars, I would. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my recent experiences at Biggby Coffee were frustrating enough to say something. For starters, the prices are outrageous for what you actually get. They’ve clearly jumped on the price-gouging bandwagon, charging premium prices for drinks that are average at best. I don’t mind paying more for quality, but Biggby isn’t delivering.

To make matters worse, the cleanliness of the store left a lot to be desired. Tables were sticky, the floors looked like they hadn’t been swept in hours, and don’t even get me started on the state of the bathrooms. It made me question the hygiene standards behind the counter too.

What really sealed the deal for me was the management. The manager, Alyssa, doesn’t seem to have a handle on the place at all. She came across as unprofessional, dismissive of customer concerns, and more focused on chatting than actually managing her team or maintaining the store. Leadership sets the tone, and unfortunately, her poor management reflects in the overall atmosphere and service.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Biggby Coffee if you’re looking for a clean, reasonably priced place to get your caffeine fix. There are plenty of better options out there where you’ll get more value for your money—and not have to second guess whether your cup came from a clean...

I was waiting for 30 minutes two people came after me got their order in five minutes they had the same sandwiches I had and she gave them their order before she gave me my order so I go up and ask like are you done with my sandwich ma’am? She says I have yours right here. I sat there and watched her make seven more sandwiches for drive-through customers. All these people came after I did, and everybody got their order except me mind you I was the only black guy in there I hate to pull that card, but all of the white people got their orders fast and in a hurry I was standing there for 30 minutes, they need to train their people better. The lady at the register was super nice she was black maybe it’s something in the water over here but there’s no way I should be standing there for 30 minutes two people come in behind me with a bigger order and they leave in five minutes and like I said they had the same order as I did the same exact sandwiches. Dirtiest biggby in Michigan. It doesn’t matter if it’s slow or what time I have gone in there but EVERY SINGLE TIME they have MULTIPLE milks, cold foams and dairy products sitting outside the fridge on the counter with LIDS OFF! Once there was even a FLY buzzing around the open dairy products. I have given this store MULTIPLE times to show me different but every time it’s dairy products open sitting on the counter and it’s always my iced butter bear (extra shot, extra flavor and sweet foam) never made with either an extra shot or extra flavor. I have no problem driving to canton Biggby on Mich ave to get my drink every day. At least it’s made correctly and not with room temperature milk 🤮. I have seen this done with management there and nothing said either. Before someone says that it’s ok to leave the milk out if they are making several drinks, that’s fine. But as I said…even if it’s just me and NOT ANOTHER CUSTOMER they will leave it out.
