Quick summary: I love the sectional sofa, customer service is great, results may vary with weatherproof covers.
I purchased my sectional from Cozy Corner - the Hot Springs set - back in June, 2022. Prior to the purchase, I had a few questions and Cozy Corners' CS rep was very helpful in their answers. Following the purchase, I received several emails that gave me updates of the shipping progress and what I should expect once it arrives. The delivery's arrival was a rather comedic moment, as the sofa set arrived on two pallets, both nearly 6 feet tall. Despite the size, assembly was a piece of cake, though I do recommend assembling all of the pieces where you plan to put the sofa. Moving the fully assembled sofa can be a bit of a challenge and the wrong move risks breaking one of the plastic clamps that hold the sectional pieces together. You will also have to put the cushions in their covers, which can be made easy if you wrap said cushions in plastic, suck out the air in the cushion with a vacuum hose attachment, and quickly put the cushion into its cover before it reinflates fully. Or you can be like me who didn't have a good plastic bag for the cushions and had to resort to manhandling the cushions into their covers. It wasn't great and required a second set of hands, but against all odds we made it work. The sofa itself is excellent. The seat cushions are firm and are very comfortable to sit on. The cushion fabric is sturdy and appears capable of withstanding whatever life throws at it. The seats are nice and wide and they allow for me to lay down across the length of the sofa with ease. Needless to say, this sofa was a hit during the summer. As for the weatherproof covers, that's a different story. When I purchased this sofa and its cover, I was expecting a cover that fit the sectional's L-shape. The covers that first arrived appeared to only fit one rectangular portion of the sofa. Unlike the L-shape I was expecting, it was two rectangular covers. When I contacted customer service and explained the situation, they were helpful in noting that an incorrect set had been sent to me and that they were going to send a replacement set once the shipment arrived in port. A couple weeks passed and when the new set arrived, it was a set of three covers that covered up the different portions of my sofa; one for the sofa, one for the sectional piece, and one for the lounger portion. While on paper this theoretically could work, there were two issues: 1.) The gap between each sectional piece was so narrow and tight that it was impossible to thread two covers between the sectional pieces without risking the breakage of the plastic clamp holding the sectional together. 2.) What I was expecting to be a 1-piece L-shape weatherproof covers was now a 3-piece set that didn't fit too well. Because of this, I simply couldn't justify keeping the covers, especially with how much I paid for them. Cozy Corners' customer service was still helpful in coordinating the return and refund, so this matter has been resolved. Despite the weatherproof covers matter, I still think this sofa is excellent and I'm very happy with it. I have a feeling that if you get a regular, rectangular sofa, the weatherproof covers will work better for you than they did for me. But just be warned that if you want a larger sectional, the cover will likely come to you in several pieces rather than one...
Read moreWe ordered several patio sets from Cozy Corners after our pool was completed. Specifically, we ordered two lounge chairs, the Grand Teton set which included a large sectional, as well as two lounge chairs. While the furniture is beautiful, the quality is lacking in every way, and customer service is pitiful through Cozy Corners. To begin with, Cozy Corners failed to deliver all of the pieces of furniture and cushion covers. When we finally straightened out delivery problems, we began to assemble the furniture which mainly involves covering the cushions. Two cushions were ripped at the seams, and another had splotches/stains all over it which was noticeable especially in sunlight. Additionally, one of lounge chair recliners was broken and we had to have a replacement sent. Also, cheap screws were used for all of the furniture pieces and within days of putting the furniture out, we began to see rust. Lastly, the cushions and covers soak up rain more than any other patio furniture we’ve ever owned. We have addressed all of these issues with Cozy Corners, texting and emailing back and forth with documented pictures included. They have said they would take care of these issues but two months later, they have failed to reconcile any of these issues and all communication has come to a halt. Cozy Corners does not stand behind their product or warranty. We will never again purchase from Cozy Corners, nor can we recommend them to anyone.
Edited to add: Three cushion covers were in poor shape when we received them. Two of them were ripped, one stained. The stained cushion cover is not a Sunbrella issue, it’s a quality control issue by Cozy Corners. They have yet to make any of these issues right, despite telling us months ago that they would replace screws, the plastic lounger piece (yes, it’s PLASTIC—you would think at this price it would be made of a stronger material), and cushions. We will see if this time they follow through. Hopefully I can update this review one more time once these issues...
Read moreThe furniture is fabulous. I've had it for nearly three months and it is wonderful. However, I paid $100 for a cover for my set (at the time I ordered the furniture) but the cover didn't come. I notified the company immediately that there was no cover. They made me take pictures of the furniture to show that I didn't received the cover (which seems ridiculous, considering one could just take pictures without the cover....). They contacted me back right away and said they would send a cover. Then the next day, they told me that they didn't have any more covers; that they were making new ones. They told me I would be on "priority" to receive the new cover in three weeks. Five weeks later (after I had already had to buy another cover for $70 on Amazon so the furniture wouldn't get ruined in the rains we were having), I contacted them to tell them I STILL hadn't received a cover. They then sent me the covers. They are three separate covers for the three separate pieces. This is fine for the chair and ottoman, but the the lounger (which is two pieces, held together by connectors), it doesn't work well. You can't pull the covers down between the two pieces because they are connected together. I asked to return them and be refunded (as I had already bought a different cover that was cheaper and works better) and they said NO. They said they'd give me a $50 coupon for a future purchase instead. It took them 6 weeks to send me a cover that I had already paid for; and then when I said it doesn't work, they wouldn't let me return it. SO frustrating. As I said the furniture is great; but I can't say I'd recommend...
