Weston Bend Candle Company — Attraction in Weston

My husband and I happened upon this beautiful shop while looking for things to do to celebrate a birthday during the weekend. We found a Halloween themed candle pouring event, which brought us here! This store has extremely knowledgeable owners and staff with unique scents and a beautiful storefront to sell them in.

The candle making events take place in their workshop a little bit behind the store on the main street. Ours was Halloween themed, they had snacks, wine, Halloween music, and the nicest people to chat and get to know while the candles were setting. Like their other events (One is Gilmore Girls Themed) one of the owners had 4 custom Halloween scent to choose from to make our candles. They walked us through step by step on naming, stirring, and setting them for us, and even allowed us to peruse the closed storefront and buy some candles while we were waiting for ours to set.

They have seasonal scents, custom scents, Harry Potter scents, wax melts, a store cat, extremely talented and creative owners who custom make amazing scents, and the loveliest people you could ever meet. You can tell they love what they do, love the people they meet, and love their town. They make you feel welcomed and appreciated, offering a discount just for coming to their event as well! I visited the candle shop in Weston for the first time and had excellent service from Sarah. She knows her scents! A friend I was with had been to the shop years ago and asked about a scent she loved, and Sarah was able to help her remember the name and even offered to re-create a candle for her even though they don’t sell it anymore. I used to love going to this shop and buying candles. We wore masks as sign says. Quickly took mask down from nose to smell candle only to be chastised by an employee who said smell candles thru mask. No thanks. I won't go back or recommend to friends.
