If I could give service a 0 I would. The server was ungodly rude. I walked in while I waited for a friend to enter, and I saw the menus AT THE ENTRANCE sitting on a shelf RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME where I was standing (had not been greeted yet, but that was totally okay!..because I was occupying time preparing/reading the menu) and I grabbed two menus one for me and my friend.
The server greeted us in a timely manner and directed us to the table she'd like us to sit at. My friend, unaware I was vegetarian, quickly threw in an order of the smothered fries, we ordered drinks, and I asked my friend after the server promptly walked away if there was meat on the fries... She said yes, so I got up and walked the direction the server headed, found her, and asked if they would mind putting the pork on the side, she kind of huffed and said, "Well let me go tell the chef!" and rushed off, which I totally get if you're busy sometimes those moments just slip.
So I was under the assumption this was perhaps a one woman show, considering what a hinderance she acted like that was... So because I saw the exact drinks my friend and I had ordered on the counter, a coke and miller lite, (there were only two other tables filled in the restaurant at this time, who already had drinks) I thought I could help her out by carrying the drinks to our table since I was PHYSICALLY ALREADY PRESENT in front of my drinks.. rather than making her walk extra steps to our table down the length of the restaurant. (side note the design of this place doesn't make clear what's out of bounds for guess to access.. but that's also okay.. but Im saying this counter gave the vibes of you order there and can pick up something there as a guest.)
She dropped our fries off,... and asked, "Would you prefer to have your coke topped off?! since I didn't get the opportunity to fill it all the way up?!" (keep in mind,....my glass is completely full.. I hadnt even taken a sip yet.) I said, "Oh no, that's okay...I'm good...(not seeing the issue.).."
We placed our full order quickly and as we handed our menus to her she said, "You can hand them to me, or if you would like you can get up and put them back yourself." ..no smile on her face, no laughs, not a single sign that this was friendly laughable-gesture. This was by no means a misconnection or a wanna-be joke that bombed. I've never had worse...

I just had an amazing meal at Tin Kitchen in Weston, MO, and I can't stop raving about it! Our waitress, Whitney, was absolutely wonderful—so friendly and attentive, she made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing.
I went with the pulled pork meal, and it was incredible! The pulled pork was incredibly tender and juicy, piled high on soft white bread that soaked up all the delicious flavors. It came with crispy French fries and a side of creamy mac and cheese that was to die for. I could have eaten the mac and cheese all day!
My brother opted for the cheeseburger meal, and he was just as impressed. The burger featured two hefty quarter-pound patties topped with American cheese, fresh lettuce, pickles, tomato, and onion, served with their special TK burger sauce on the side. He couldn't stop talking about how juicy and flavorful it was, and the fries were the perfect sidekick—crispy and golden.
We kicked off our meal by sharing the pigs in a blanket appetizer, and wow, what a treat! The smoked sausage wrapped in flaky puff pastry was so good, especially with the Carolina mustard on the side. We were in heaven!
Overall, our experience at Tin Kitchen was five stars all the way. Great food, fantastic service, and a cozy atmosphere—I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes! If you find yourself in Weston, do yourself a favor and check...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Stars “Brisket, beans, and a barnload of flavor — I’m obsessed.”
Let me just say: TIN Kitchen knows what they’re doing. If you’re anywhere near this cute little historic town and not eating here, what are you even doing with your life?
I had the brisket sandwich (chef’s kiss) and the pulled pork sandwich, because I believe in equal opportunity meat appreciation. Both were tender, juicy, perfectly smoky, and loaded with flavor like they’ve been marinating in good decisions.
The beans? Absolute top-tier. Honestly, I’d write a love song about them if I had any musical talent. Fries? Golden, crispy, and copious — like, enough to build a small starch sculpture if you were so inclined.
The place itself is super cute — set in a building that looks like it’s been around since Lincoln had a beard. Rustic charm, cozy atmosphere, very “this used to be a general store but now we serve meat miracles.”
The staff were fast, sassy (in the fun way), and genuinely nice. There were quite a few of them just hanging out, probably in between rushes, giving the place a bit of a relaxed, low-key vibe — like your cool cousins running a BBQ joint.
In short: The food is fantastic. The portions are generous. The town is adorable. And yes, I’ll be back — probably sooner than my...
