This is a very unique opportunity. Displayed here are works of art that are created on looms that are programed using something very similar to old computer punch cards, but the technology was developed well before electronic computurs were invented. The people that staff the place are very knowlegable of the technology as well as the stories that go along with individual pieces.

Interesting stop in Weston. My wife had recently read a about the Museum and we spotted it while walking on Main Street in Weston. The curator has been collecting silk art for 39 years and is very knowledgeable about silk art. The examples on display were amazing.

Who knew that there was such a cool, educational and interesting museum in Weston?! Don't let the unassuming building and entrance fool you, there's a whole lot of history and gorgeous, intricate works of art behind that plain door. The employees are very knowledgeable and will answer any questions and will provide detailed narratives and history. I stopped in with visiting family while we were visiting the little shops and it ended being a highlight of the day. If you are at all interested in historical textile arts, sewing, or just cool stuff, stop in for a visit....
