Wanting a place to escape for a fun and relaxing weekend? Are you a Hallmark movie fan!? The Weston Firefly Inn will exceed every expectation for your stay. The hosts provided a warm welcome and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Be sure to take in the history of the house and the beauty of the original features. And don't forget to ask which rooms were used for the filming of an original Hallmark movie!

The Prairie Suite offered a nice respite from the busy workweek as we enjoyed the benefits of a spa like attached bath. The room was inviting and cozy, and the bed offered a luxurious feel to the overall suite. Not a detail was overlooked as an electric fireplace was also part of the package.

Teas and coffees are provided in the commons area downstairs. My husband and I enjoyed the social hour provided by Keira and Jerry as local beers and wine were shared, as well as delicious cheeses and meats on a beautifully prepared charcuterie board. Since the Firefly is just minutes from downtown Weston, we then drove to visit one of the local restaurants.

After a good night's rest, breakfast brought about other culinary delights. Keira is the best when it comes to providing choices for a delicious breakfast spread. Juices, eggs, homemade biscuits and gravy along with fresh fruit met us as we entered the quaint dining area. I can definitely say, that we will return to Weston Firefly Inn.

My husband and I recently stayed in the Prairie Room at Weston Firefly Inn for two nights. Michelle and Jeff are terrific hosts who make all guests feel right at home. The room was beautiful and comfortable (quality mattress). Each evening they serve charcuterie and drinks, and each morning they serve an excellent gourmet breakfast. Each breakfast included a sweet baked dish (for instance French toast bake or monkey bread), protein (for instance corned beef hash for St Patrick's Day Weekend) eggs, yogurt parfait, caprese kabobs, and signature Firefly bacon a delicious "candied bacon." The Inn includes a family room with games, a second room with a television and books and a deck for outdoor seating. Each guest room has its own decor and special touches (including a few snacks and a custom cookie). We loved the pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. The location is close to all the great shops, wineries and restaurants in Weston. We toured Green Dirt Farm to learn about sheep's milk cheese and enjoyed a mystery (especially fun for extroverts) at Weston Wine Co. This is an excellent getaway for couples. The location near Kansas City is great....

I would highly recommend this Inn based on the great food, the wonderful hospitality, the comfortable room, and the attention to detail. The breakfast each morning was delicious with proteins and yummy carb dishes and lots of options each day. They go out of their way to cater to your special dietary needs. Michelle has a wonderful way of making you feel very welcome, just as if it were your own home (except theirs is way cleaner and cozier than mine!). The decorations, coziness, cold waters and snacks in your room, tissues everywhere, coffee bar and everything easily seen so you can always find what you're looking for was awesome. The beds are extremely cozy and comfy. We stayed in the Prairie Room and our family had the other two rooms. Michelle always made us feel very welcome to have a great time or spend our time however we wanted to. There were lots of board games to keep my family entertained and they went out of their way to make sure everything was set up to help us out.
