Wheeling Island — Attraction in Wheeling

This is not based off the casino (I am personally not a gambler, I did a couple machines and that was it) but this is based off the other things... my positives are that the casino was clean, the atmosphere getting in was wonderful and the buffet was great! The ribs there were wonderful but the rest felt like a very quiet Golden Corral (because that place can get very loud with screaming children). The negatives are that one of the entrances are closed (this was my first time so forgive me...) and there was no sign pointing to where the main entrance is, also the line to get a ticket was very long (I went on a Sunday in June), I swear... me, my brother, and my mother had to wait an hour just to get a ticket which is weird. I would have to say I was very disappointed. It's been almost four years since I've been here. This used to be a very good Casino. Upon entering the escalator was broke. My dad has COPD so luckily the elevator was working. Went to use the first set of bathrooms they were out of order so went to the bathrooms in the food court there were several toilets that were not working with bags on them. So after that we decided to gamble to find out that the machines are very outdated literally disabled broken machines all throughout the casino the high rollers area was tiny and very old machines in there. We were here about 45 minutes and left went down to the Meadows very disappointed again they need to do upkeep on this building and machines it is starting to look like...

The maintenance on this place is severely lacking. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, paint coming off, fixtures broken in the bathroom, stained carpets. Sink and bathtub don't drain, so you're taking a shower in dirty water. Can't brush your teeth and wash your face at the same time because the basin will overflow. This is in a lot of review, so they just don't care. Casino is dirty. Ashtrays overflowing, thousands of empty drinks laying around everywhere. This is the stingyest casino around in terms of comps.
