Prime Time Collectibles — Local services in Whittier

Walked in a couple of times to check out how this store has been doing after a poor experience that I previously had when they first opened up; did not see anyone at the register the entire time, was just a bunch of people sitting at the table playing games. No one asked if I needed anything or offered any help (I had questions and had no idea who there at the gaming table was employed). From what I could see they were out of almost every tcg boosters, mostly selling just Funko Pops, figures, tops, random video games. Both times I took friends who agreed they would not return to that store for their tcg needs.. Felt like a very awkward and unprofessional experience both times. I left more than one star in hopes that they see this and change their modus operandi cuz I sincerely would like to see a hobby shop...

I love this place. The moment I walked in the staff made me feel I was welcomed. They asked about my interest, showed me where to look and even just made casual chit chat. They're super knowledgeable. Even the regulars playing card games were nice, they sat me down and showed me how to play Magic after borrowing a spare deck they had.

I've been to a couple of their customer appreciation events! No business I know takes the time to show gratitude like them. They deserve my business and the business of every dweeb in SoCal.

These guys are great! Just stopped by after hearing about them and the two working, I presume owners, greeted us and immediately engaged with my friend and i about Yu-Gi-Oh! the counter guy even yelled "Hey Geo (hope that was the name lol) you got more Yu-Gi-Oh players!"

This place is a breath of fresh air after Shuffle and Cut closed their shop in La Mirada

Was a fun time, hope they get their D&D stuff going, adventure league here...
