I have a friend interested in joining the church. A couple months ago, he wanted to visit the tomb of Fr. Kapaun, so we planed a road trip to Wichita. We got to the cathedral around noon time on a Saturday since online visitation hours showed as 8:30am-4pm. After we used the code to get into the locked doors, we were “greeted” by a lady informing us that there was a wedding later on in the day, and she refused to let us go pay a short visit to the tomb. I would recommend calling beforehand so you don’t waste a trip traveling here just to be denied access to the church. Sadly it left a bad impression...
