Extremely clean and comfortable. Very modern. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Nicely located downtown, with plenty of free parking. Decent selection of restaurants nearby, and good recommendations from the front desk (we LOVED dinner.) Fairly standard for this level of hotel, but a very nice example of it as well. The hotel restaurant had recently re-opened, and was temporarily offering free full breakfast. We ordered off a paper menu from our room, and then emailed the order to the front desk. Got hot fresh food just moments after we sat down. Very good, and easily as good as any IHOP or Denny's. For once I wouldn't have had any problem choosing that as our main breakfast option (we usually skip the blah breakfast bars and just grab food in town.) Also had a generous check-out time of noon. Our particular room didn't have much of a view from the window (parking garage), but there were some halfway decent views of the city from the top of the parking garage. Great little spot, would absolutely return.

The hotel was very clean, well organized, and decorated. The pool was nice but could be bigger, the fitness center was nice, loved the little robot, the staff was helpful and honest. The food was delicious from the little place in the lobby, a full service bar that featured a really cool guy, I don't remember his name but definitely needs his props. So overall, yeah, just a great place to stay. (Now, the bad) The community around the hotel is a little shaky. You will have to travel to find things to do, so bring board games if you don't drive. There are quite a few tasty restaurants within walking distance, but not many. Other than that, I can't think of many more. (PS- Take your room key with you everywhere you go. You'll definitely need it to move around the hotel. And pay for the free breakfast because it's delicious as well.)

Our stay was for 5 nights. Microwave did not work. Side table broken. No room service for entire stay. Short staffed. Had to go to desk for towels every night. one bottle of water free. all others $2.50. Parking is terrible and we were told garage was $15 per night but the garage (city owned) only charged $5! Used family/friends to reserve and that is the only reason we stayed. Staff was personable (Tyler) but apparently not empowered. Even tho the amount was small, our room was charged for items we did not use. Check your bill before leaving. After verbalizing our concerns with Samantha (asst mgr?), she assured us she would get back to us about any remedies that might be available. Never heard from her! The manager did assist us with getting charges taken off for items we did not use.

We just checked out of this location. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. That was the extent of the positive experiences for us.

The room had a very small fridge, not great lighting in the room itself and the worst was the bed.

We stayed for four days and the bed was so firm it felt like we were sleeping on the floor. My partner likes a firmer bed but he even said the bed was horrible. The AC was also kind of a nightmare. It worked but only blew in one spot. It was so hot lying in the bed. The circulation of the air felt like it was not there.

Also, if you are expecting a free breakfast. Not the place. It wasnt included in our room and it was $18 a person for the buffet. For that much money, I expected better tasting food. It was extremely bland.

The location wasn’t terrible. It was close to a Quik Trip and local businesses. They have a parking garage for the hotel but it costs extra. $5 a day and you have to pay every time you enter the garage. There is a huge transient presence near the hotel and a lot of them hang at the entrance of the garage. We saw a grown man change his own diaper right in front of the ticket booth to get into the garage.

They do have on site items to purchase near the front desk for food and beverages; however, the prices are astronomical. A bottle of Smart water was $8. A 6 pack of liter Smart water bottles from a grocery store is $11. Total rip off.

Out of desperation our first night to have a cold drink (because the tap water was always luke warm) we attempted to buy the cheapest drink item which was still about $3-4 (I attempted to get a 12 ounce can of dr pepper that was $3) the check out computer was wobbling on the counter and kept glitching to where we couldnt even use it. So we gave up and went to target and got some drinks to stick in the fridge.

Will...

I would not stay here again. M&Ms, pill, almonds on floor and built in seatings had remnants of food particals. Wasn't told how Breakfast was at checkin or about amenities. Was told about parking but parking ticket wouldn't open parking gate. I used my points for room didn't know I didn't get breakfast. I got my points from staying at Home2suites in KC while husband was sick with cancer, and you need lots of points to get free room. My husband then passed and a week an a half later I took my daughter on a one night get away. Room service charged high tip automatically, but the food was excellent. Asked for late checkout -- was approved 30 extra minutes, all good till I tried to get back in room just before 12, late checkout was 12:30. She keyed my card before I left for activity, went to room not worked, went down stairs got rekeyed, tried again didn't work, had to wait for someone to open room then felt like I had done something wrong, the maids didn't communicate with front desk would just smile and tell me to go back downstairs-they were talking with their supervisor? Brands usually treat Gold members or members better because members are committing to the brand. I have stayed at many different places and in large cities Denver, KC, and more from Hiltons, BW, and other brands and stays this year at hotels...

CAUTION: Barn doors in bathroom. Room design very poor.

Staff is generally friendly and the entire place is clean, appointed appropriately for a hotel of their status/price point. However, the barn door on the bathroom is a deal breaker for me and I will likely never go back. Hotels put the barn doors everywhere because they are cheap and trendy, but they are a terrible design choice for a bathroom as they do not lock, seal, etc., and allow scents, sounds, and all kinds of unsavoriness all over the room. Recently stayed here and woke up to the smell of sewer as the toilet was approx. 8ft from my head as I slept. No one had pooped in the room at any point, and still very unsavory. Also, they pull the classic trick of using the most complex thermostat possible so it is exceedingly difficult to lower/raise the temperature of the room. A cheap trick for a relatively premium hotel line in my opinion. Further, many rooms are located in the inside of the building so they offer 0 natural lighting, which is fairly important in a room with 0 ceiling lighting and lackluster lamps.

It's clean, location is good, staff is fairly helpful, and feels almost upscale for Wichita, so I can't give it a terrible star review, but my recommendation would probably be to...
