Highly recommend City Arts! They have a myriad of classes with extensive workshops/labs filled with all the tools you could need to start learning. Pottery, silversmithing, glass fusing, painting, etc. The instructors are knowledgeable and good at teaching, and the class provides a cohort of fellow creatives to learn from and be inspired by. Silversmithing has been enjoyable and I’ve learned a lot. Any project I’ve brought in to attempt, my instructor has been able to help me create. I’d like to take a glass fusing class and a pottery class at some point too. Fees are reasonable and you can buy some supplies at the front desk. If you’re looking to learn new skills with fellow creatives, look no further...
