Occasions by Dress Gallery Prom and Formalwear Store — Attraction in Wichita

I have a wedding to go to in the middle of August. I waited a bit to long to get my dress, purchasing it a week before, but I ended up finding the perfect one. Cassidy was the one who helped me out, such a great associate btw, I tend to forget about time and such so while I came in 50 mins before they closed. Cassidy was not rushing me at all, she asked about my price range, what color the wedding theme is, and how I was attending the wedding. She gave me a warm welcome and helped get rid of some of my jitters from dress shopping without even realizing it. I thought I was a size 14, so she gave me 5 to 6 dresses, the first one I tried on didn't zip. She was so calm about it that I did not feel one lick of guilt, the third dress I tried on was a size 16 and it fit like a glove. While the dress was more expensive, she explained to me that I wouldn't have to get it alter and this dress doesn't have to be just a one time use. So, yes, I'm spending more money now, but in the long run it is a good investment. Overall I had a wonderful experience here and am so glad that I was able to find a prefect dress. 10/10 would recommend...

The very morning of my daughter’s formal event, we realized that the dress she was intending to wear that night could not work; it was borrowed so we could not alter it the way we needed. We showed up at Occasions with a need for a dress that night, a very slim budget, and lots of emotions. Upon entering the store, Nayeli greeted us and asked if we had an appointment. Even though we didn’t have one, she jumped right in with questions about what we were needing. She knew the event well and so understood the dress code and modesty we were looking for. Within 45 minutes, my daughter found a perfect dress within our budget, even better than the borrowed one! Nayeli gets a gold star from this family for working quickly and confidently, finding options and talking us through the whole process of what could otherwise have been a day of emotional chaos. I started my wedding dress journey at Accent Bridal and Tux and quickly learned at 62, I wasn't seeking a traditional bridal gown. The terrific lady there knew their sister store, Occasions by Dress Gallery, was the solution! It was!!

Cassidy helped me select six dresses as REAL possibilities! I returned a couple weeks later with sisters, niece and close friends to say "yes".

Cassidy pulled a few more of the rack that were new arrivals!! In one hour's time, my crew had a 100% on THE dress! Wouldn't you know, it was my favorite as well! It doesn't even require alterations! I highly recommend Occasions by Dress Gallery at 21st & Woodlawn. It's a one-stop shopping experience for the nontraditional bridal gown, prom gowns, MOB/MOG and special occasion formal wear like NYE and wedding guest stunners!! Very fairly priced as well!!
