The Gathering Barn — Attraction in Williamsburg

My best friend got married here. And I honestly can’t think of one nice thing to say. The owner wasn’t there the entire weekend to help out. Concrete was being poured right in front of the entrance the day before her wedding with the ground all torn up. Caution cones and tape everywhere. And the bride wasn’t even notified with a phone call or email. The linens for the tables were stained and wrinkled.There was garbage everywhere. Chairs were stained and dirty. Just overall poor service. And I want to be clear it has nothing to do with the staff or the bartenders. It was the owner who failed at their job. They didn’t even so much as apologize or offer some sort of discount. Overall...

We had our ceremony and reception here. Very beautiful place! We couldn't be more happy with how our day turned out. The owners where so helpful and where there what felt like 247, very dedicated. They had no problems with our last minute changes and where happy to help us, we had help with set up ,tear down, lay out, everything. They where always so nice! There are two different entrances one on the side, and one in the front of the building with a round about for drop off and front row handy cap parking,which was nice for easy access. very easy to get to. Cannot speak highly enough about my husband and I's experience with the Gathering Barn!!! From the beginning planning stages to the day-of, the owners were kind, fun, considerate, and professional. They were extremely flexible in allowing us to make decisions that best suited our preferences--much more flexible than other venues in the area. We had many guests during and after the wedding comment on how beautiful and clean the building was.
