February 2024: This time when we came into town we made reservations. Since they moved locations they had way more space than last year so I don’t think we actually needed to make reservations but that’s okay because it was still delicious.
We loved the Alfredo with rigatoni last time so we got an order of that plus gnocchi with Alfredo. The kids loved the bread (minus the pesto butter than my younger dubbed “cabbage butter”) and pasta… we all loved the pasta. I would have been okay with more noodles since the gnocchi was good but really thick and filling so next year we will probably just get two orders of the Alfredo and rigatoni noodles.
The server Miss Danny (Danielle) was great. She brought us everything we needed and was super nice.
We are already looking forward to coming back when we visit for Dance Revolution next year.
January 2023:
We stopped by during Dance Revolution at the Benton Convention Center. My girls love Italian food and pasta so we ordered fettuccine Alfredo with rigatoni noodles instead of fettuccine. We did have to order to go since there was no seating until later that night closer to 7:30 (it was 6-6:15 when we arrived and the convention we were going to started at 7 so we couldn’t stay that late. We ended up being able to sit by the window and eat there. Those seats also get reserved as well so we were lucky no one was there.
If we go back I would make reservations since this is the closest Italian food downtown near the convention center. The noodles were good. The sauce was a little more buttery and less cheesy than I was used to but still tasty. We ordered to go and got bread and butter in our bag so that was nice. Overall good, I would go back again but make sure to make reservations. We were from out of town so I didn’t know what was available until we got there and I...
Read moreWe walk for a while looking for a restaurant with a meal that we wanted. We got to the place, looked over the menu, we saw a meal we wanted. Upon been seated six others walked in which the hostess gave them a smile. The hostess mention she need to go set up for them, when she return I told her for two . I say said for two, she said okay. We past the entire front side of the place to be seated in the back in the corner and in the dark. After been seated, I realized the bathroom and co-workers was back there as well. Where I was seated I could see others were been seated up front and no one else came in that area we were seating. I began to watch more, however our waitress was really nice however the idea that the hostess continue to watch me after seating others up front. Couples of two was coming in no one was seated in the area we were seated. After ordering our food, more people came in, they all were all seated to the front. I told my husband something was wrong,. I sense something was wrong, I call the hostess to ask if we owe them anything for water, and to advise her we were leaving, She asked a couple of times was something wrong and I told her yes but it was okay, then we begin to leave. After walking to the front I turn to look and she was smiling. I will never return to this business. We were in town for a conference and I will advise one of the conference advisor of the treatment from this business. We were the only African American in the building. I feel this business has a problem with African Americans. Never will...
Read moreI hate writing poor reviews, I'm a server myself and everyone with me that night has been at some point as well so we understand how it can get sometimes. Me and my bf went to dinner with my dad and his gf on Saturday, we had a reservation for 4:45pm. We ordered drinks and we all got our waters immediately but the sanpelegrinos/sparkling water took 15 minutes to come out, whatever. We ordered and got our food. My dad got a plate with seafood on it, it had a very strange fishy/rotten taste to it, everyone at the table could smell it without trying so we could tell something was off. He wasn't going to say anything and just try to eat it but when the waitress came over his gf tried to say something about it because my dad had just put it to the side and wasn't going to eat anything. His girlfriend was completely ignored, the waitress quickly finished refilling the glass of water and walked away, after that she didn't check on us again until the check. I let my dad finish my Alfredo and he had put his plate to the side. The waitress came back, asked if he wanted a box for his plate he said no thank you and she brought us the check. She didn't ask if anything was wrong when he had my food infront of him and his barely touched plate next to it, nor did she ask if we wanted the check, she simply brought it, which was fine, at that point we just wanted to leave anyways. Just hope our 30$ tip didn't confuse her into thinking she...
