Kin & Cottage — Local services in Winston-Salem

Kin & Cottage is the best! I no longer buy candles from anywhere else, and every season they release incredible scents that are sometimes unexpected but always exactly what I needed - shout out to Hex Candy, Maple Apple Crisp and Book Club from this year's fall collection. I've tried/loved everything from their soap to the roll on scents, but my favorite product they make is their bath bombs. They are HUGE, gorgeous to look at and turn my tub into a moisturizing, perfectly scented spa experience. They're also perfect for gifting! I love giving my friends a matching scent bundle that includes a soap bar, candle and bath bomb. If you shop in store they also have really cute stickers and tote bags (I use my "Move I'm Gay" tote every week for grocery shopping, haha.) I can't recommend...

I stopped in this shop while in town for a conference and I experienced the best, most multi-dimensional scents in natural, hand made products I’ve ever smelled. I had a phenomenal chat with the owner, Megan and really got the sense, (scents?) of her passion and palate for mixing fresh, creative scents. These aren’t just any scents, these were surprising ones that brought my senses right through a whole experience of layers and visions of places all of its own, so much so that I could picture it with a song. Which is a little surprise in itself with Megan’s personalized touch. Once the Kin and Cottage body soaps come out I’ll be super excited to give those a try!

I’m a guy that enjoys a good scented candle. I travel for a living and I’ll pick up some great candles wherever I’m at but I think I can say this is the best candle shop in the country. The scents are one of a kind and unique and the fact that they’re all made in the shop by the owner makes them a bit more special. The quality is there, the scents are incredible, they burn great, and the prices are very good for what you get. I came here with my girlfriend and we ended up with a few to take home and some other products that Megan, the owner, makes in house.
