Really need to sing this place's praises and share a story about Tucker's.
I have a few vet friends who caution against off-leash dog parks. The problem, typically, isn't the dog as much as it is the owner who can't recognize when dog interactions are turning from play to something that might potentially result in harm.
Tucker's is different. We recently took our puppy (pictured in the middle of this whirlwind of Golden Retrievers. Please note his "happy ears") to Tucker's because, as you can see, he lives his very best life here.
Well, some dogs just don't get along and one particular dog was a bit antagonistic towards our pup (beyond the usual "play" stuff and into aggressive nipping/herding behavior) which required separation on a few occasions. I really try not to be too overbearing about dog interactions, but it was to the point where other owners were commenting, noticing that it might not be a good interaction. After bringing up our concern with Tucker's yard attendants, they intervened and intervened beautifully.
I can't tell you how much peace of mind I have knowing that professionals are available as an added layer of protection to step in and prevent a potentially harmful escalation. For that reason alone, I'm happy to give Tucker's our family's business. It really has been a blessing to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have been coming to Tuckers since it opened. Our furbaby absolutely loves it there! It's a very nice place to sit back and relax while your dog plays and has fun, not to mention watching the other pups play and have a great time! They have a nice selection of beers, IPA, and wines throughout the year that they switch out from time to time. The staff is friendly and you can rest assured that if something is happening with your pup, you will be informed and made aware. The staff does the best that they can to keep a yard full of dozens of dogs clean and sanitary for their customers, with daily maitenance. There are fun events to come to every week and a nice selection of food trucks as well. We are and always will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a great find! We had a great time at Trivia while our dog had an even better time running around with his new best friends. The staff were friendly and patiently helped us with the Check-in process (we had to redo it because our online check-in didn't register) For a Wednesday night, their parking lot filled up really quickly. They had clear signs highlighting their backup parking location across the street. My only recommendation to the team is bringing in food trucks with vegetarian options. Unfortunately, the one they had the night we visited even had fries cooked in animal fat. All in all, a great spot to chill with your canine friends, but maybe grab a bite before you head there if you're...
