The blonde-haired lady came into the room to ask me to sign a paper again after I finished everything from the bills and exam papers for my first day here. I asked her what it was for. She said it was for treatment. Then she left the room. Unfortunately, the internet wasn't working so I couldn't translate the paper, but I signed it because it said it was for starting treatment. She came back with her iPad and said, "You took pictures of your daughter's body." I said, "How did you take the pictures without my knowledge and without asking me? And without me seeing you!!! I want you to delete them. I didn't give you permission and you didn't even ask for my permission to accept this." She left, not knowing if she had transferred the pictures to another device. When she came back, she said she had deleted them and only showed me that she had my ID photo. This discussion took place in front of Dr. Foster, but I left at the end of the appointment and the doctor didn't know what my daughter's condition was. When they left me in the room for a long time, I wanted to say I wanted to leave because the doctor didn't know what the condition was and hadn't prescribed me medication. Why did he want me to wait for more than an hour? I opened the door to tell the nurse that I wanted to leave, the doctor said I am a cancer doctor go to a pediatrician who is really specialized in pediatrics, so I found him by the door flipping through the pages of a dermatology book to guess the type of disease. I did not like the service, and I did not like that the doctor was flipping through the pages of a dermatology book. Between the pages of the book of diseases instead of using a skin scanning device or anything else, I did not care that he did not know because I could simply visit another doctor and I could visit another place, but putting you in the room for an hour to find him looking through the book of diseases and also his assistant taking pictures of your child without permission and giving you vague information about the paper that is for treatment and she was lying in order to take pictures of my daughter, she could have asked for that and waited for my approval. This is not treatment, and because in the end I left and he did not guess the type of disease after an hour and a half to no avail!!!!! I will not advise anyone to trust the service of this place nor the privacy that you will not guarantee there
When I came to book an appointment and they said they don't accept your insurance I said ok I will pay they said you have to pay before the appointment and I did on August 19th when I went for the appointment on August 25th before leaving I asked her I don't want to be surprised by any bills she said you don't have to pay anything I did and I said I want a copy of the bill and she did and left and on August 29th I got a bill for $162.93. Read moreToday was my second visit to with Dr. Merrick at Florida Dermatology. I am so very blessed that I found this practice. The staff is kind and Dr. Merrick is so knowledgeable! I love that she takes time with me and answers every question I have! I’ve never felt rushed but every concern I mention is addressed and every question answered!
This is my 2nd dermatologist but the very first time that I have seen results. I am a black woman and initially sought out a black dermatologist thinking they would be more competent about black skin! I was wrong and my initial meeting with that same-skinned dermatologist was very unfruitful! Dr. Merrick offered nothing but answers and I left with such hope after our first visit! The large keloids in my face were almost flat in less than a week after my visit. Furthermore, every problem that I presented to her is tremendously better after following her instructions. To add to this, Dr. Merrick is so personable and made me feel so welcomed and so valued! I appreciate this practice and Dr. Merrick! This is well worth the visits and the cost! ...
