Came in to warranty/run a defect through insurance on my 5 month old iPhone. Only one person working and she was a trainee who wasnāt really sure what to do. She had me fill out my information on her phone and told me I was eligible to get a free replacement because the phone was less than 12 months old and it was an internal issue not damage related. She told me phone would be shipped to the house within 1 or 2 days and I would just send the defected one back through the mail. The story quickly changed and she then told me I had to drive to the apple store in orlando in order to complete this. I didnāt like that answer I asked her to call her manager again who was giving her instructions on what to do in the beginning and he said the same thing, we would need to go to the store and have apple take care of it.. Why do I pay extra for apple care & insurance on my devices if I need to go through all this? I drove to the At&t store up the road where they kindly informed me I did not have to go through all that, they gave me the phone numbers necessary to complete the switch without having to take a day out of work and drive all the way orlando. This was no fault of the employee, unfortunately the store is poorly staffed and the staff they do have is poorly trained. Avoid going here, drive a few extra minutes and go to the other store in winter haven youāll save yourself a lot...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe transferred over from Verizon to AT&T and Yashanti was absolutely amazing on helping us and making sure we had a smooth transition while trying to help us get the best deal possible. We had to come back to pick up one of the ordered phones the next day and when we arrived, we greeting by a gentleman who helped us activate the one phone. The salesman ordered another phone for us and added all the add on's you can think of with out our permission. When we confronted him and said no we did not want these he said it was to late and we would have to call to remove them since he already added them. This jumped our bill almost $250! Truly felt like that salesman was trying to take advantage of us. Horrible. We came the next day to pick up the second phone with full intention of canceling and returning everything based on that experience, thankfully Yashanti was there was able to assist us and clear everything up. We called cust support together and she walked us through the whole process and was able to remove the add ons and get our bill down lower than what it was suppose to be. Thank you Yashanti, you are the reason why we did not cancel everything and go to another phone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store has been awful to deal with. I traded in a device 6/1/21 on a promo of up to $700 back on my new phone. Left very happy with my new device. On 6/9/21, I received a call from this location, without an initial greeting asking "what kind of phone did you trade in?". I thought it was weird and started suspecting there was an issue with my trade in device. A couple months later, I still had not received the monthly credits for my trade in. It should have been the $700 credit over the span of 30 months. Spoke with the store who admitted they had messed up and processed trade in device incorrectly under a wrong account and it had already been shipped out. A few days shy of 1/1/22 and this issue has yet to be corrected for me. The store claims that they are unable to fix it. I will not return to this store to make any AT&T transaction and warn others against it as well. In September, I went into the store to follow up on this and the store manager stated he would be looking into this and reaching out to his supervisor for help on correcting this, however, he never called me back either. AT&T corporate has been unsuccessful at helping with this...
