This is one of our favorite parks to visit every time we are in the Winter Park area, which is at least once a month. It is right off Orlando Ave, and close to all the restaurants and shops around the area. We love the playground at this park. It is very ample and with lots of things to do and have fun with. My kids love all of the nooks and crannies it has to play, hide, and have fun in. Outside the playground, there are a couple of huge sport fields for Soccer and Football. There also happens to be a small exercise area with equipment, right next to the playground. There is a nice little trail to walk around the park, however, currently, it is partially closed due to construction of the new Winter Park Events Center and Library (Beautiful Building by the way). Nevertheless, if your desire is to take your kids to a nice quiet, yet fun, playground, this is the place to be. Do what we do, enjoy a nice little meal with your family at one of the many restaurants nearby, then swing by to this park to let your kids have fun and unwind. By the time you’re done, they have had an enjoyable day and you have too.
