Horrible Horrible Horrible! Iāve been to this location a few times, Iāve brought friends because I have always been a fan of the brand. This location is the worst Iāve ever been to. The staff is rude not a smile in sight. They can never seem to communicate effectively when mistakes are made and the hair is mid at best. Today was my last straw, I had an important event later and just needed a blowout. The website wouldnāt let me book and told me to call the salon, I did. I booked a blowout at 10:45. Iām rushing to the salon late this morning so I call to see if they can push it 10 minutes, (thatās on me) they said yes, theyāll move my blowout to 11. I purposely didnāt wash my hair for a few days for this. I get there and they lead me to a chair in the back and ask what style I want. I explained I wanted a bouncy blowout and Iād like to leave in pins. She explains that I donāt have blowout scheduled I have a dry style booked. I correct her and then Iām told because I ābooked onlineā itās my mistake and they donāt have time to fit me in anywhere unless itās a dry style. I didnāt even book online⦠your receptionist booked it over the phone. Iām never coming here again and I recommend you try a family owned salon and maybe give less of these corporate salons a chance to treat you like a dollar sign and...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePaid $74 for a blowout and they didn't even wash my hair. The lady just wet my hair put it in a towel and took me to chair. I was left with a bunch of buildup from the hair spray and product I had in and my hair felt dirty. Sadly I went on my birthday to relax and get a nice hair wash because it relaxes me. And I couldn't get that experience. My hair looked really dry and friZy after because it wasn't conditioned and I could see the buildup on my Scalp. It was also really sensitive when she was blowdfying it and she placed the blow dryer so close to my Scalp that it was burning and red after. I asked if she can put oil as she didn't put any product when she finished and it looked really puffy and friZy and she put the smallest amount of oil like less than a dime amout of oil and then charged me an extra $15 for the oil. Worst experience that I have ever had. Worst part is that I had to spend my bday with dirty itchy Scalp and ugly frizzy hair. After telling the attendant she agreed that she could see all the buildup and apologized but didn't do anything about it. They offered a coupon that I can use to get a free add on next time.. as if I will ever return there again... which I never will. Worst experience ever. Don't waste your time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI havenāt been to Dry Bar in over a year, and today was unfortunately a reminder why. I booked my appointment in advance with specific notes on the app - ābouncy, blowout with rollers, 90s supermodel vibes with a senior stylist (preferred). Thank you!šā
From the moment I arrived, the manager who checked me in had a cold, smug, passive and unwelcoming demeanor. When she offered me a drink it was never brought to me. She seemed entirely uninterested in providing a pleasant experience which goes against everything DryBar claims to stand for. Very much a Karen.
The stylist greeted me at 12:10pm for my 12pm appointment (I arrived at 11:50pm) and asked what I wanted from their (outdated) menu. Despite my clear notes in advance, I politely rexplained. My blowout was subpar at best. I have healthy, easy to style hair that was just cut last week so this wasnāt a matter of uncooperative hair, rather it was simply poorly executed and I left with flat hair.
In the future, Iāll go to a legitimate salon with quality products, tools, and at the very least decent customer service. I still tipped 20%, but this was an $88 reminder that I can get better results at home with my Dyson and Milbon products⦠without...
