Hobby Lobby is good for some things, only if they're on sale. It serves a purpose. Unfortunately, the fact that they pay so little, even their managers, the whole staff is generally worthless and as unskilled as they come.
The cashier expected us to be able to see though human bodies to see the lane closed sign placed where essentially nobody could see unless you were standing directly in frong of it.
That same cashier then directed several people on line behind us to a new lane instead of telling the next person to go. Unfortunately, the cashier in the ljne we werw in couldnt have been any slower so several people behind us got out before us.
Then with a line 10 people long that same wothless cashier closed her register, walked away for several minutes, and organized s shelf instead of helping get the line down. She wasnt worth the minimum wagr she gets paid.
So my wife, being the person she is, thinks a company of this caliber actually employs competant managers. The manager asked my wife what the cashier's name was, she didnt know so she said "the blonde one". The manager than decides to get uppity and tell her we describe people by their name here. How we're supposed to see a name tag on a person with their back to us, i dunno.
I know this store is also jesus freaky so i guess God grants them the power of x-ray vision while working there. Its more likely that there's not s single person who works for Hobby Lobby that even has a GED. And that...
Read moreI like Hobby Lobby, but the cashier we had on lane #10 was horrible. She had a sour face the entire time. It's my first time visiting this location in NJ. My mom paid, and she didn't have any bags left, so she put all the stuff back on the counter. We got a lot of things, so there was no way we were going to carry all of that. My mom asked if she had any paper bags and she said she didn't. Well, when we asked if she could ask someone else for bags, she just shrugged it off and said no. She made US, the clients, ask the cashier on lane #9 that was right next to her for bags. What's worse is that when we did get a bag, the cashier was pretending the paperbag was too difficult to open, and after 2 minutes of trying to open it, my mom said she would put the stuff away herself. We also had something that should have been wrapped to protect it from breaking and asked if she could do it. She grabbed 1 piece of paper, wrapped it around once very poorly, and gave it to my mom. She didn't care and she obviously didn't want to be there or do anything for that matter. Horrible...
