Came here on Sun for brunch when it wasn't much busy. We ordered coffees, sandwich and waffles with chicken. We didn't get our coffees until we had to remind staff after 30 mins. The staff prioritized their friends who ordered coffee after us. After waiting for 45 minutes we received our food, but the chicken was very cold from the inside so I showed it to the staff. Made us wait another 10 mins and so I told I just want a refund now as we did not want to wait another 30 minutes to get different food. The staff said they were making it again. They tell me after another 10 minutes I was refunded tho I thought they were bringing out another chicken w waffle because the cashier said they were bringing it out so they basically just decided to refund because they didn't have time to make it without even informing us. I wasn't given any proof of refund so I asked for a receipt. Then the owner came out to show that I was refunded. I mentioned to the owner about the issues and he said we have 1000 tickets. Clearly it's a stuff issue but he said they have 8 total working but while waiting for food the cashier said there was only 1 person in the kitchen. This was completely untrue as we had waited for 40 mins for our food and it wasn't busy before we got there. Place got busier after us. Comments about the workers being disinterested and slow are true. We ordered an egg sandwich and a berries + oats bowl, they took over 30 minutes to arrive and the place was not busy. As to my oat bowl, the menu said they will include raspberries and almonds - it included neither! I went up to the cashier and told her, she told me that the almonds were mixed in and that they were out of raspberries so I said that she should have told me they were out. Her response was “they’re just raspberries..” however I ordered this bowl for the ingredients in it, and I should be informed whether I will get what I paid for or not. When I asked whether they can substitute or add something else instead, she said they already added extra blueberries (without even informing or asking). Then she proceeded to say “what do u want me to do” with an attitude. So I said nothing and went to eat my breakfast, halfway through I realized that the almonds she said were mixed in were not there at all!!! Bad service, bad food and oh they don’t have a ventilator and it was too stuffy and smoky from all the egg frying in the kitchen. Lokal Coffee and Co is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to work in a relaxed environment while enjoying great coffee and delicious food. I recently visited and tried both a hot macchiato and an iced mocha coffee, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of both. The macchiato had a rich, robust flavor, while the iced mocha was the perfect blend of coffee and chocolate, making it a refreshing treat.

I also decided to try the salmon sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It’s clear that Coffee and Co takes pride in the quality of their food as well as their beverages.

One of the highlights of my visit was discovering their game corner, which features a Nintendo console. We played Dr. Mario, and it was a nostalgic and fun addition to the cafe experience. It’s a unique touch that sets Coffee and Co apart from other cafes.
