One of the standout aspects of Noches De Colombia is the impeccable service provided by the attentive staff. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff members are not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about their culture, eager to share insights and recommendations. I might know more about Colombian culture, cuisine at this point than my own. Their friendly demeanor made me feel like a welcomed guest, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Undoubtedly, you go to a restaurant for one main reason and it is definitely the star of the show—the food! Noches De Colombia offers a tantalizing array of traditional Colombian dishes that are an absolute feast for the senses. From the first bite, I could taste the authenticity and passion that goes into every dish. Whether you're craving the bandeja paisa, the flavorful empanadas, or the arroz con pollo, each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail. The drink selection is vast with many local South American beers available in bottle or glass as well as smoothies and frozen drinks. Let me digress from professionalism but if you’re trying to get sauced, these drinks will do that.

Read moreFirst issue was that I walked in with a person with a disability who could barely walk and only had the use of one arm. So the Hostess decided that it was a good idea to have us walk to the very end of the restaurant😡. It showed that the employee did not pay attention to my friend's obvious disability and her struggle to walk so far. Food is always good. No complaints about that. There has only been one item that I haven't liked and it was the shrimp with cheese. Service is ok. Every time, I have been there, the waitress/waiters have gotten something wrong. They don't come to ask if you need a refill on your drinks, you have to get their attention. The biggest problem I have with them is that they are always rushing you out. I've been there several times within the last 2 months and I always feel like they are throwing us out. Example: On one occasion, I was with a disabled person. It was hard for her to make quick decisions, as the waiter kept coming back to the table, like what seemed every 5 mins to take our order. My friend felt rushed and it made her anxious! When we finally ordered the waitress told us that she changed my friend's order to help her save money. However, my friend didn't get what she wanted, how she wanted it! It made me angry that the waitress felt comfortable enough to do so, without asking us! It also made us feel like she thought that we couldn't afford our meal when I clearly stated that we knew it would be a little more $$ for the additional item. The final straw was when, as we were finishing up packing up our leftovers, two of their employees proceeded to add more tables to ours (as we were still sitting down) to accommodate the group that was coming to eat next!! I told them that it was rude and we felt rushed. They apologized but then stood close by and kept looking at us, as we prepared to go. On other occasions, they began to grab our plates without us having finished. The atmosphere is good but it's tight. You feel like you're eating with strangers, that's how close it has gotten. No one wants to be on top of ppl they don't know while trying to enjoy a private conversation while out to eat. They need to work on making ppl NOT feel rushed. The camera guy is amazing. He is polite and has a...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst columbian food I ever ate. I came tonight with the high hopes of eating the flavorful food that I usually get from Noches in Elizabeth. However, I got disgusting food that tasted like it was bought from the frozen section of a supermarket. When we were taken to our table we were given no menus. We waited about 6 minutes and nothing, so I had to stop a staff member and ask for menus. We ordered guacamole and chicharron for an appetizer. We then ordered our food, a churrasco with plantains, Garlic shrimp with tostones and a side of yellow rice, and breaded fish fillet with white rice, plantains and beans. The yellow rice had no flavor and was not even yellow. It tasted like boxed rice, the plantains were cold and tasted like it was frozen and not fresh. The tostones did not taste fresh, it tasted like it was frozen and were also cold when they were given to us. The steak was okay and didn't come with the chimichurri sauce it said it would come with. I had to ask for the chimichurri sauce. The chimichurri sauce was all oil and no flavor. The food came before our appetizer and I had to remind our waitress we ordered an appetizer and never got it. The guacamole was terrible and did not taste fresh. It tasted like it was store bought. I added tons of salt and limes to make it better but it didn't work. It was 2 adults and 2 kids. The kids ordered cherry lemonade and it was delicious. However the maracuya sangria the adults ordered was horrible and tasted watered down with no alcohol. Finally we asked for 2 tres leche cakes and we only ate 2 bites out of them each because it was horrible and tasted like it store bought. Not fresh or home made. Came from a place frozen and thawed off. $170.00 dollars later for a family of 4, not worth it. I told the waitress about the disappointment of the appetizer and the desserts and nothing was taken off my bill. The appetizer came when we were almost done with our entrees. All I have to say is never again will I waste my money here. I will go to Elizabeth to the real deal. I rather drive an extra 15 minutes to get better food for a reasonable price. The decor was nice and the place...
