Let me start with the fact that the food here is delicious, and the wait staff are all amazing. Most people here will have a good experience. I am not most people My friend and I were eating food together here, and one of our friends texted us an order to go (Mahi-mahi). The wait staff was really helpful and we put an order in. By the time we finished our food and paid for the bill, the to go order was ready. We then drove 25 minutes back home, only to realize we got someone else’s DoorDash order, and it was tacos. That’s okay. Mistakes happen. We went back to the restaurant to get our actual order, and after 10 minutes, we got our food in exchange for the DoorDash order. We were a little bummed cuz we assumed they were going to just throw it out anyways. The manager said she confirmed we paid for the Mahi-mahi and let us go with our food When we left, the manager came running after us. She was just shy of yelling at us to give her the rest of the DoorDash order. We said we gave her everything, but she insisted that there was more food. A little back and fowards ensued as we assured her we gave her all the food we had, despite her suspicions, and then we left. But this left a bad taste in my mouth. They’re the ones who gave us the wrong order, but here we are being treated as scammers or dine and dashers. Also the managers insistence on having the rest of the food just makes me feel like she was going to repackage the food we gave her and resend it to another customer which is absolutely disgusting to think about. Sure I didn’t touch the food, but I’ve held onto it for an hour before they got it back. They don’t know that I didn’t touch the food, and it makes me not trust coming back here again Edit: we got back home and the food is ice cold. They said they’d give us a new one, but obviously they lied. This means they’re most likely going to give that door dash order the food that we held onto for an hour and that’s...
Read moreExtremely disappointed! Not in the food, as I've never had issue with the variety of food choices or the freshness of the selections. My issue is with the service. I order To Go meals for clients this afternoon. And when I arrived everything was fine: order was on time, correct and hot. The problem was with the drinks. Apparently I was expected to carry multiple drinks to my car, travel on 1&9 and then take them into my clients bldg without any drink holders. When I asked if a holder could be made available, not only was I greeted with a smug snicker of "we don't have those" but it was followed by a look of annoyance that I even made the request. Keeping my cool, I asked if a box - maybe one of the ones that the myriad of wine bottles displayed in the wall behind the bar are shipped in - could be provided. After "checking" I was informed one of those wasn't available either. And that was stated with more indifference than anything else. I had to go to Buffalo Wild Wings next door to get the box that should have been part of this To Go order. Ridiculous!!!! The holders, like the utensils, napkins, straws and bags are all part of the price I paid for the meal. This may not be a big deal to some, but proper accommodations for clients/customers/patrons should be a norm instead of an anomaly. Managing Partner, Lauren Sowers states on the website "We provide our guests with exceptional service by guiding them through our innovative menu with seasonal specials featuring the highest-quality, fresh ingredients..." so I guess the things not listed on the menu that are also integral to "exceptional service" aren't that important. Read moreRecent visit, reviewing on service. We were brought to a table that was not only an inch away from the chair of the next table, but a patron was sitting there, and it was a very awkward spot. I looked over at a another table and asked the host about sitting there, he acted like he didn't know what to do. Cynthia saw us and asked would you like to sit there, I'll clean it up for you. She came along so proficient and willing, we were so appreciative. She truly mirrored the famous words, "But the diligent one will be fully satisfied." It's one like Cynthia that make it easier to overlook the experience we encountered the rest of our visit, but important enough to be addressed. Our waitress was Nana, the time she came to the table we felt she exuded an attitude. I even tried to lighten up the vibe a little, see if she could turn around by laughing over a mistake my mom made in reading the menu. Nana laughed and commented but went right back to that unfriendly, I don't want to be bothered vibe. It could be me but I felt once she realized we weren't going to be ordering alcoholic drinks, the vibe even got more distant, mentally and physically. To name just a few of the inconsistencies: an order was placed for my friend that was on her way. Instead of waiting to bring my friend's food when she arrived, she brought it and just allowed it to sit. She also never asked her what she'd like to drink, coming to our table to refill our waters never happened, and we had to ask for dessert menu. It was just the basic Waiter/Customer service 101 wasn't done. Again this visit will not affect my returning, however this needed to be said in hopes of...
