I don't know where to begin. I entered this establishment with my faith in the aftermarket car stereo installation business at an all time low. To say I was deflated would underscore the significance of my feelings towards the first three so called installers and their respective business practices. I will try and keep this review as short and concise as possible. Furthermore, every person that reads this can peruse all my reviews and see that I don't support negative connotation or prefer to discredit any institution, but this time I had had enough. I have spent thousands of dollars on audio equipment and been through numerous "professional installers," with which they call themselves. Car Tunes, KS Audio and the like, shame on you for feeding me lies while at the same time taking my hard earned cash and promising to fix your mistakes. Moreover, assuring me you stand by your work as you shake my hand and send me on my way with dangerous wiring and impedance levels my equipment wasn't rated for. I was fed lies, downright lies about how my stereo was hooked up. My car was damaged in certain places and I gave up trying to coordinate a resolution. Please believe me when I say I tried. You won that battle, Car Tunes, but you lost a great customer. My WRX had a mere 3000 miles on it when this arduous journey began. Surely there had to be somebody out there that had the skill, dedication to the customer, and backed their work with their word! My faith in humanity was restored when I met Ryan at Frequency Mobile Innovations. I had been from one end of the valley to the other and settled on this particular location. Ryan owns the business and shares in all the installations. I put him through the wringer upon my first visit, told him I'd heard the song and dance and asked him how much he wanted for all the lies and BS you installers spew? He gave me the same song and dance and I put every last shred of faith in his word. He also told me If I wasn't 100% satisfied with the work that he wouldn't stop until it sounded exactly the way I wanted it. And here's the final word. He fixed my errant wiring and install woes, hooked up my OEM back-up camera without an $80. unnecessary harness, restored my factory USB charging port that I lost to the third installer that couldn't get it working...and the subs and amps put out sound and volume I never thought possible. AND THIS WAS ALL WITH MY EXISTING EQUIPMENT. He never tried to sell me anything else. told me what I had currently was great audio gear. I don't know what else to say. Ryan, thank you for your honesty and dedication to the customer. You and your staff truly know how to treat people. And yes, I will be back for those lights, my friend!

....A year later and I have had ample time to gain more experience and insight into this business. Ryan and the folks at Frequency have in my opinion set the bar extremely high for car audio establishments. I have visited the surrounding competition on more than one occasion and left feeling very much the same way as with others, price quote in hand with feelings of doubt and uncertainty swirling within my gut. Call it what you want but I know a good thing when I experience it. And when it comes to my car and entrusting it's proper electronic function and overall well being to others when out of my sight...I place my money with Frequency Mobile and...

I bought powered a sub-woofer for my Outback to have mounted in the trunk space under the floor and above the spare tire. The guys did a great job, clean install, sounds great. There was hiccup with my heater controls, but Ryan made sure that we got to the bottom of the issue and it was taken care of.

The only thing I would say is that they could be a little quicker about making contact via phone (this has now improved greatly 6/2/2020). However, their very fair prices and commitment to making sure the customer gets a great experience will keep me coming back. In the next couple of weeks I plan to have them do new door speakers throughout. And Car tint sometime in the future.

They will work with you to accomplish whatever your goals are. They take the time to help get the sound you want, no pressure environment.

And last of all, but certainly not least, Ryan and his guys have real integrity. They do their very best to take care of clients.

Came back today and had these guys install an Alpine receiver and bypass module with steering wheel control integration in my new truck. they did an excellent job once again. While driving home I noticed the steering wheel controls were cutting out and malfunctioning.

I took it back to the shop and explained what was up. They checked it out with me, then pulled it back in to do a more thorough check. They didn't end up finding a reason for the malfunction, when they told me this I was pretty bummed as the adapter was quite expensive. Rian immediately let me know that if I desired they could pull it out and refund me the full price. It was such a relief to know that even though the adapter wasn't playing nice with the head unit, I wasn't out the money for something I wouldn't utilize.

Thanks again Rian for demonstrating what integrity looks like. This is the reason I'll always take my cars to this shop, even if I move away from Davis county. They do business the right way. The only tiny ding in their armor is whenever my car does get worked on, there is always a bit of product left inside (i.e. wires, caps...). This isn't a huge priority, just something I've noticed over the time I've had them installing my equipment. I get it, they're not a detailing shop, would just be a nice thing to have tidied up.

I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for professional car audio...

Where do I begin???? Rian & his crew are awesome!!! They went out of their way to help me when a competitor, a little north of them on 500 W in Bountiful, did his best to take advantage of me. They found the part required for my Pioneer in no time when their competitor, who originally sold the 2 Pioneer units to me, WOULD NOT. Rian and his team had it installed and working perfectly in a matter of an hour. Rian even offered me a pocket to fill the space where the old CD player was housed in my dash. He removed the tacky plastic cover plate his competitor north of him added and offered me usable space in my dash that was never there before as a bonus. Frequency Audio has YOUR best interest at heart. They will advise you honestly and they do not work on screwing you to upsell ya later like others just up the street. They offer fair and reasonable services and stand behind everything they do. Rian will even offer his personal cell number to his customers. Any questions...anytime...he will help. Great guy...Great CREW...knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. They are now our one stop shop for all of our car audio needs and we will send everyone we know seeking tint or audio services in their direction guaranteed. Thanks Ya'll for all you do!!! You turned an ugly situation into a positive one. Frequency Audio will be around when the others up the street fade away. Truthfully...I want to rephrase my statement since Frequency Audio has NO COMPETITORS in Bountiful cause, no other shop can compare and that is a fact. Thanks Again...
