Habitat For Humanity Woodstock ReStore — Attraction in Woodstock

This organization is a HUGE blessing!!!! I was pleasantly impressed and surprised by the selection of furniture this place offers.I was able to furnish my entire living room going here and the Mchenry location.Everyone here is sooo welcoming and friendly.I’m a forever customer ❤️

Edit: I forgot to mention you are responsible for pickup.The store gives you seven days for pick up and if you don’t pick up after seven days they’re willing to work with you on a time frame but if it exceeds that time frame and it take 30 days then the merchandise returns back to the store and you can’t get a refund.Also,They don’t help with delivery but the hardworking men volunteers will load the truck with whatever you buy but they’re not allowed to get in the truck and move things around for you.I’m guessing it’s a safety precaution.

Either way you can’t beat the price on the selection they’re offering.If you come here and see something you like buy it.Please don’t think”I’ll come back another time and get it!!”because there’s a huge possibility it won’t be there either myself or someone else is going to grab that hidden gem...

Shopped at this store a few times a year. Nice and helpful staff. Great prices. Bought a bunkbed in July of 2024, they disassembled it and helped load it in our car. When didn't plan to assemble it for at least 6 months or so, so we placed it in our garage. Yestarday, January 2025 we assembled the bunkbed and come to realize they must have forgot to load the bed slats. We didn't even realize we didn't have then when putting them in storage. So 7 months later we called to see if by a slim chance maybe they still had them. Apparently they have been holding onto them hoping we would call back. I could see a store keeping them for a month or so, but for 7 months! It's amazing. They were apologetic but we were just extremely greatful they were willing to hold onto them...

I purchased a piece of furniture. Paid cash. Cashier Louanne did not give me my change. I asked her for it. She said she could not open the drawer and then proceeded to belittle me for actually wanting my change. She said most people just put their change in the donation jar. I felt like asking how I could possibly do that when....she hadn't GIVEN me my change! After belittling me a bit more, she actually took money out of the donation jar to give me my change! (Incorrect amount I might add.) My daughter witnessed the whole exchange and was also a bit upset by it. No...
