My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Greystone Event Center in May. From the beginning, Brian and his staff made the process easy and stress free. Brian’s experience and knowledge of wedding planning was so helpful. Even on the days I felt stressed and pressured, Brain set up a meeting to discuss the issues and had actually already taken care of the need. From start to finish, our wedding was perfect. The venue is beautiful, clean, and elegant. There was ample space for our guests. The food (Village Catering) was amazing. We received so many compliments regarding the dinner from friends and family. There were so many options to choose from for the rehearsal dinner and reception entrée. Desserts were also amazing. The most convenient aspect of working with Greystone is the incorporation of Village Catering. Basically, this is a one stop shop. From food, to décor, to event planning, The Sayer Group had it covered. We saved money by encompassing all the vendors into one entity. If we would have outsourced all of the individual vendors, we would have spent much more to receive the services for our wedding. Now Tammy needs her own review! Tammy was hired toward the end of our planning process. Any remaining stress I had about our wedding was relieved by Tammy. If there was a question, she could answer it, or knew who to ask. She worked tirelessly in the few days before our wedding to make sure everything was picture perfect. She went above and beyond her duties. I felt like I was her own daughter and I am so grateful for the hard work she put into making sure our day was everything we imagined. She is an absolute gem, wonderful person, and a great asset to Greystone Event Center. Overall, we are exceeding pleased with the services provided through Greystone Event Center. We give the highest recommendation for any event need, particularly weddings. Convenient, fairly priced, great staff, and delicious food. Everyone involved from the coordinators, to bar tenders, to wait staff was...
Read moreI had the worst experience booking with this venue and generally I don’t write reviews, but just to warn you. I was looking for somewhere to book my son’s graduation party for Jun. 14 I spoke with Tammy, the main organizer of events and she said to come by on Sat May 24, she would show me around. When I arrived I was greeted by someone else who showed me around. That I was ok with. After I left I texted Tammy and told her I would like to book this venue. I never heard from her and one lady said she would get back to me on Tuesday. I never heard from her still, so I messaged her on the Thur May 29 and she said she submitted “it” she would send it to me tomorrow. 2 days goes by and I ask again if she knows anything yet and she said, “sorry I am not in the office and can’t see her notes.” She then proceeds to ask me how many guests and what food I wanted. Mind you we already discussed this. It is now Jun 2 and I have less than 2 weeks to find a new venue. Very poor communication and...
Read moreBrian, Tammy, and the team did a fantastic job making our large scale event a success! Attendees loved the food and Tammy was a huge help answering questions on table lay out, parking for guests, helping plan the menu, and every detail in between. The night of the event everyone—staff, servers, and Tammy were fantastic, helping and anticipating if anything was needed. They helped us roll with the punches that any large scale event are likely to throw. The facility is gorgeous. The updates they’ve done to the walls and carpets in the last few years have really added that WOW factor as soon as you step in the doors under the lobby chandelier....
