Wonderful experience! I took in a ring and a new stone that I had cut to have it set. The new stone was cut a bit smaller than the current one, but it was close and they were still able to set it.
They did a beautiful job, you can't even tell that the new stone was a little smaller. After having the first two opals in this ring fail (ring was not originally purchased from Milkins) I had a moonstone set. This is my wedding ring and it was so important to me that this was done right. Milkins did not disappoint, I wish I had purchased a ring from them right from the get go.
Last but never least the ladies in the store were all absolutely amazing! I have had several jewelers judge me for wanting a moonstone in my wedding ring. "I mean, sorry... I'm not a traditional type, sorry I happen to love stones with fire, or reflect 🤷 and why do you care anyways?" I experienced none of that attitude at Milkins. When I picked the ring up, the one girl at the counter said "Oh wow, that ring!" and the other girl not far away looked at her and said "the moonstone?" with a smile.
When she brought the ring out they both told me how unique and beautiful it is. I would have loved it either way, but having people who work with jewelry all the time be that sincere, had me that much more excited. The ring was finally right and exactly what I wanted all along!
The customer service from beginning to end was stellar. I absolutely plan on shopping their in store collection, as well as having some moonstone pieces made to compliment my ring. Give them a try. You won't regret it, they have earned their 4.9* overall rating and it really should be a 5*. Thank you Milkins!

Read moreI came in struggling to adjust a smart watch strap that I had ordered from Amazon.
Though it was meant for the customer to remove or add the gold links on one’s own, I was finding it impossible [and defeating!] to attempt the task on my own
I finally decided to see professional expertise in the process! Based on reviews and distance from my own home, I landed on Milkins Jewelers to try.
It’s clean, organized, bright, and comfortable inside.
Ann greeted my with a cheerful welcome and immediately made herself available me to assist me. She listened to my challenge and went right into helping me resolve it. She was kind, patient, hospitable, and - most of all - validating in my experience having difficulty! She reassured me when I felt so silly and incapable!
She fixed the issues that I created on user error and came back and forth from the work station to measure and ensure the watch fit me as I preferred. She was so willing and joyful in the process.
It took less than 15 minutes [I am embarrassed to say how long it was taking me to try on my own!] and cost $6 for the adjustment.
I am SO thankful for the service and extraordinary customer care that came from Ann and the staff and Milkins! Thank you, Ann!
I certainly recommend them...
Read moreDo not go to this jeweler!! I went in to this jeweler, since it was local, to get my ring size for my wedding ring. The employee who "helped" me put one ring size on and told me that was it. I asked if she was sure, maybe try the other sizes to make sure. She refused, telling me she was confident, and ushered me out the door. So my ring comes and its too big. I go back to the jeweler to try to get it resized, which is apparently impossible, and was treated again with disdain. In fact, the same jeweler who sized the ring in the first place, asked indignantly, "Do you even know your ring size?". Needless to say, I will not be returning to this jeweler and I would suggest to anyone else to not waste your time. Unless you're interested in being mocked and...
