Prairie Tails Dog Park is a solid spot for letting your pups stretch their legs and burn off some energy. It’s not the fanciest park around, but that’s part of its charm. It’s a nice chunk of land, giving your dogs plenty of space to run, play, and just be dogs, which is exactly what you want in a dog park.
One thing to keep in mind—it can get pretty gnarly when it rains. The mud can be a bit much, so if your pup likes to roll around, be prepared for a messy (but happy) dog. I like the astroturf entrance for wiping paws when we leave. There’s a watering station (although the water is currently turned off during the freezing temperatures), a cute little bridge, a covered picnic table, stone benches throughout the park, an agility course, and a mix of trees vs field.
