Wylie Recreation Center — Attraction in Wylie

Could use some improvement with the child care center area. Just the size is small and maybe add in a pool area in the facility. Add some wylie kids sports as well. Otherwise, a clean facility. I do however have to have a extra passes to other gyms in case the child center is full. The crafts are cute. The child care staff for the most part is good. I was told my 5 yr old son is to old for the child care center. So I guess this is for babies only. I have three other gym memberships with child care. I picked the rec center thinking it was easier to do since it's close. All the other child care centers I have had a wonderful experience with. If I suggest or ask about things I am met with politeness and they are very accommodating. Or explain things politly. They are polite and kind. I don't feel very welcomed when I left my review or email. I got chewed out infront of the staff, kids and my son's, and a paying client there picking up her child. I am not going to make a Sean infoent of my kids or others of course. The lady denied a lot of thing. Please review your child care worker camera's wylie rec. I won't be bringing my son here. If you express your opinions you'll get chewed out. My son didn't like it either. The first day he got returned to me due to him crying because it was new. The child care could have potential. Will be canceling this week. Could go on and on. But it is what it is. I emailed them too and always get chewed out by the vhild care worker. We enjoyed the basketball court and the upstairs gym lately. The reason why I'm giving a 3 star is because of the daycare. It didn't went well the first day we used it and hopefully we can try again another time with my child. The lady suggest that I shouldn't take him in the morning since it's busy and only in the afternoon. It made me felt like we can't go in the morning for workout or use the daycare cause they're super busy. We're going to continue to use rec center and daycare as often as we can since we're paying for it. But I have doubts with the daycare. Don't know if I will use it tho. We want to share this hidden spot in Wylie...the Wylie Rec Center!! The workout facility in the Rec Center is awesome!! They have free weights, machines, and all kinds of options for cardio-including an indoor track. They also have a rock climbing wall that is available to kids and adults!! My kids LOVE coming to the childcare area-that is FREE with your annual membership!! The yearly cost for an individual membership is $175 for Wylie residents and $225 for an individual outside of Wylie.
