I just have to say the manager here is awesome! I don't know her name but hats off to her. Brown hair, and glasses. So I was there this afternoon. I'm waiting in line to pick up something I had ordered to get printed and another lady is waiting in the UPS line and we're talking. Well this guy comes stomping up to the line yelling at the lady running the UPS counter. She was on the younger side and seemed really nice. Well he's yelling at her about how he needs help finding something and she's not helping him and pointing him in all different directions and just freaking out. She calmly was able to kind of look around the wall next to her and point and say hey I'm sorry it's right where I told you and he cuts her off yelling about how rude she is before continuing his search. She's visibly shaken up and upset because this was an older bigger guy. I would be too. She steps back into the printing room and tells the manager I mentioned what happened before coming out and helping the lady I was talking with. We both tell her that guy is a jerk and she's awesome and not rude at all. She smiled a bit and thanked us. Lady next to me does her UPS business and I get my printed stuff before wandering elsewhere in the store to find my mom. I told her about the crazy dude and as we're heading towards the exit I see him again this time he has an Amazon package so I guess he was looking for the Amazon lockers. Well I hang back because I'm curious if he's going to make a scene and I want to be there to tell a manager that the girl at the UPS counter wasn't at fault. I guess the manager recognized him and quickly asked if he needs help. Well he starts yelling and throwing a fit about how the girl at the UPS counter was so rude and wouldn't help him. He wouldn't calm down and the manager was upfront with him. Basically told him she tried to help you. You don't get to yell at my employees you need to be nice to them. You could've kindly told her you still couldn't find it and someone could've helped you. This guy wouldn't stop freaking out. The manager didn't put up with it and kept standing up for her employee. I left so I don't know what happened but yeah awesome manager right there. I hope that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn all the years I've shopped at Staples, I don't think I've ever had better service at one of the company stores than I did this past week in Wyomissing, PA. As I was scanning looking for the toner section, an associate saw me scanning the store and asked what I needed. He then walked me over to the toner display, explaining how I could benefit from a current toner discount program. He then got me the paper I needed and walked me to the counter so that he could help me download the Staples App in order to take advantage of the offer. Another associate had a customer who needed the technical knowledge of the man who had been helping me, so they traded places. The second associate was equally helpful guiding me through the final steps of setting up the Staples App. I was impressed by their seamless teamwork, and between them I left the store feeling that I was a valued customer who had been given an exceptional level of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe workers are rude. I checked out with a gift card that I didnāt know the amount of, and after the lady swiped the card she said ā$1.39ā. I thought she meant that that was how much I owed, and I told her she could throw the gift card away, but she proceeded to yell ā$1.39ā in my face rather than correcting me and tell me that that was how much was left on the card. When the confusion was over, I tried to say that I thought she meant thatās how much I owed, but she interrupted me mid sentence and said in a rude tone āhave a good dayā. The workers donāt even try to be nice. It was a conflict that could of easily not happened if the worker would have cared enough to speak in actual sentences rather than yelling a...
