Quite livid at tonight's game with the issues I had with one of the revs team members, not but 10 seconds after the game bat was split in half I asked my 4 year old son if hed like to have the bat for memorabilia of his very first revs game he got ecstatic so went to side of the dug out to ask about the bat and as per security risk weren't allowed to collect the bat during the game process and was asked to come back after the game was over to which my 4 year old son and I were happy to do at which when the game was over we waited down beside the dugout to retrieve what my son was told he would be recieve said time of game ending, we asked for the bat and the team member grabbed the bat and while looking right at my son handed the bat to the guy standing beside us at which my sons emotion when from smile ear to ear in ecstatic glory to sad/ what the hell just happened I abruptly asked was that the broken bat being held for my son mason his name was given when asked the first time about the bat so we had first dibs he said yep shouldve been first in line I said excuse me soon as we seen the bat get broken we were right down here and asked about the bat I gave you his name and said the second the game is over I'll be right here to collect it for him and i was here before him you walked over to grab the bat for us when I asked for it for Mason specifically you looked right at my son as you handed the bat to the other guy no response made I asked if he could atleast get his foul ball signed he looked at both of us for a second then turned around and walked away, as this being my sons very first revs game 100% guarantee we will not be attending any future revs games its 3 hrs later at this point and my son is still asking why the guy gave his bat away to someone else only answer I have is I'm sorry I eont understand what his problem was bud he is on verge of tears coming home from the game so if this is how the revs team members treat children that dont understand why he couldnt have what he was told he could have than count my friends and my family members and i out of any future revs game this was utterly appalling as my sons early birthday present being his first revs game I dont see any reason to attend any...
Read moreI haven't been so impressed with a non major league sporting event since my first Bears game in Giant Center. I grew up in Baltimore City, first in Memorial as a kid and Camden Yards since. I've been to games in a few stadiums across the MLB and the Revs game at PeoplesBank ranked up there with some of the best. Fits quite compactly right in downtown York but from inside the park you'd hardly notice. Wide selection of foods both in style and price. The micro-beer stand in outfield has a stellar selection of higher end drinks. The skybox we were in was superb with comfort, views, service and accommodations. Lastly the playground just outside center field is an amazing touch. Even more reasons to give the Revs...
