Well let me start with the positive. The rooms appear 100% nicer since the renovations, so kudos there. As you will see further see I had a boatload of issues but the staff handled then with genuine concern and compassion. The big boss man was contacted on my behalf immediately. So thanks for that. However, I check into a room, sit on bed, beds broken... Back corner just slumps down. So I move to other need, shake it off...it happens ya know. Step in glass. Bend down to look and make sure there is no more, I look under the bed to find at least a months worth of dust, dirt, wrappers... CONDOM wrappers... And used?/out of wrapper condom. Husband tells me just go to sleep, we are tired, etc. Pull back blankets and sheets, crumbs and stains and blood were on all of them. . Put my clothing ontop bed and slept on them. Ridiculous. Showers, hair and dirt all over. Towels with hair. Walls look someone threw sticky liquid all down then, top to bottom. So I'm cleaning more then relaxing. Weed (Mary jane lol) on floor. Ice bucket filthy, looked like ashtray (non smoking room). So you get the picture. Disgusting. But wait there's more. While checking in I heard the late night security guy saying about how he's had to escort some guy off property a few times, he was back and he went it to do it again. Well this"gentlemen" proceeded to pace back and forth across the street for hours , approximately 3, coming over every half hour or so, to bang on a door, like seriously beat on the door, screaming profanities and then run back across the street before they had to remove him again. About 3 hours into this...2pmish....I have yet to be able to sleep as the Room was right below me. The guy was successful in smashing the window to the room. Wow, now I feel good and safe, and well rested right. Then had to deal with police swarming the place with flashlights and spot lights and radios. What a cluster *. You can take the roadway inn off the sign but you can't take the roadway inn out of the hotel. I'm the most laid back person, and this made me complain. I'm a waitress and bartender, I understand customer service, it takes a hell of a lot for me to complain. This was over the top. Unbelievable. I actually never had an experienced like this, even with the roadway inn and that was a shthole.... With all that being said,...
Read moreSo my husband and I had to stay somewhere short notice because we had a family member in the cardiac ICU of your hospital. We had stayed in Red roof inns before and figured that this would be close enough to the location that we needed. We ended up booking a room with handicap access due to my disabilities and went arriving into the room we were overwhelmed with the smell of fabuloso cleaners so much that we had to open up the window so my asthma didn't flare, But to our surprise despite the overwhelming smell of cleaners the room was unsanitary. Not only were the ceiling tiles falling out of the wall and the floor tiles broken and separating, But there was grime cake to the bottom of the bathtub some sort of gunk all around the edges of the room complete with human hair dog hair and even an old spit out mint beside the bed. The shower connector was loose from the wall. The microwave was completely disgusting. There was human hair caked in the ice in the freezer, The elegant mirror on the wall was busted around the ends and barely hanging on, The Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak, The remote did not control the television. The handle to the dressers were extremely loose as well as the bottom drawer did not shut at all, The walls were filthy I don't even know what was on them couldn't tell if it was egg boogers food... Despite all of this and them telling us there were no other rooms available We went to sleep. I was woken up to something crawling over my arm I flicked it in the floor and when I got up to use the bathroom it was crawling in the bathroom. It was a roach We immediately checked out We let the office know what was going on showed her the videos and the pictures and she did apologize said she hopes I feel better, and we left. The place looked nothing like the photos on their website, The other guest were a bit unruly through the night, most of them huddled around a garbage can for the extent of our stay... Oh and there's thick structure glass wrapped all the way around the front desk in the lobby. We will not be back and we do not suggest anyone else stay there until that place gets some revamp and major TLC and an exterminator!!! Videos and...
Read moreTHE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE SHADY. I stayed here two non-consecutive nights. The first day they asked for a $30 security deposit. No problem. I assumed as with any other place that as long as nothing was broken, no smoking etc that it'd just be automatically applied back to my card the next day or so. When it wasn't, I called and spoke with a man on the phone who said that nothing was written on my file (no reason For me to not get it back) and that he'd check with the next shift and call me back. Never called back. So I booked another night there a few days later online with Priceline and figured I'd get it straightened out when I went back. When I checked in for my second and last night ever with them, I explained the situation to the guy at the front desk. Right away he got very rude, snappy & argumentative with me. I was shocked that I as the customer was the one trying to diffuse the conflict and kept saying "I'm not trying to argue with you." Well this guy kept saying something about keeping the receipt for the security deposit and that's the only way you can get your security deposit back because they have no record of whether I paid I or not (which is funny because the guy in the phone said my file so yes, they do keep records and also if everyone pays a security deposit then how is it a question of if I paid it or not?) I was trying to explain that I didn't know you had to do all this stuff to get my deposit back and I'm like most people in that when I get a receipt I usually just throw it away right away. Then I told him that the lady who was working the front desk didn't tell me I needed to keep my receipt to get my deposit back (bc if she had, obviously I would've kept the receipt) and he was getting more rude and kept saying "that's impossible" and I'm thinking to myself how would you know if she said it or not because you weren't there? I just couldn't believe that the staff would treat a customer like that and be all shady about a $30 security deposit. Also, the first night I found a small reddish brown bug in one of the beds. Don't come here if you want quality...
