The Clinic Cannabis Co. Ypsilanti Dispensary — Attraction in Ypsilanti

I visited this dispensary on the evening of July 6, 2025, just before 11 p.m., and I have to say, my experience was less than stellar. There’s a woman who works there—I’ve encountered her a couple of times now—and her customer service leaves much to be desired.

When she “greeted” me, it felt more like I was inconveniencing her than receiving a warm welcome. She muttered a half-hearted “hello” under her breath, as if it were a chore to acknowledge my presence. I tried to inquire about a flyer advertising the competition and the different bags on offer, but her response was so lackluster that I walked away still unsure about what the competition even entailed or what was included in those bags.

Even in the product room, her demeanor didn’t improve. I could sense her disinterest, so I decided against asking her any more questions. I had intended to stock up and spend about $100, but because of this experience, I only ended up spending $20. It’s a shame, really, as it was the only dispensary open at that hour.

I can tolerate a lot, but poor customer service is a deal-breaker. And just because she’s a woman doesn’t excuse the lack of enthusiasm. The only positive change I can make is choosing a different place to shop next time. As a parting gesture, I tipped her $1 for her lackluster service—my bud tender was supposed to receive a $10 tip from my original budget, but that didn’t happen. Overall, it was a disappointing visit that left a bad taste...

8/15 12am I asked what was the highest thc of the outdoor (cheaper) flower and the dude working said 19%. He was friendly. Then he had me smell a couple things that were great but not cheap like I was looking for. I said the 19% cheap one sounds fine. Then he started seeming annoyed. I want to assume it’s because I didn’t take his suggestions but I couldn’t really tell you why. He had to have been annoyed about something I did. But dude gave me the total and legitimately reached across the counter and grabbed the money outta my hand while I was still counting it. Idk that I even gave him the right amount. Didn’t realize til I got home that he sold me an oz that’s 2% thc. Idk if he was mad I didn’t take his suggestions or what. Seems like he was thinking “oh you really want the cheap stuff well here’s the cheap stuff then”. But the site says they have 18% for the same price. Sucks because I don’t know...

I am an old grower. I helped supply one of the first publicly open compassion clubs in the state of Michigan back when the Michigan medical marijuana act was passed. I believe that I know good cannabis. I have been all over this county and a few others and no where have I found cannabis with a better consideration for the dry/cure time.. I met with the owner Giovann who was there to open the shop in the morning at 9:00 a.m., after a few minutes of discussions I realized that he was quite knowledgeable of cannabis strain origin and had been very selective about his grower providers. He is even talking about expanding his hours beyond his current 9:00 a.m. to midnight. It would be difficult to find a better provider.
