Found this place from tiktok and this place seems new and the locals love it, so let's try it out!
I visited just before dinner time, and I was lucky. During dinner time, the place was packed! Some people even decided to come back next time because the Q is pretty long.
This place specializes in Udon, so of course I ordered the udon tempura set. Love their menu, it's pretty extensive.
The star for me is the tempura! 100 out of 10. Usually tempura can be easily gone wrong, too oily or too bland, but they make a perfect tempura here!! not greasy, perfect seasoning, fresh ingredients too, esp love the prawn tempura.
The udon itself has a nice light broth. I kinda expect the udon noodle will be chewy, but this one is not. So for the udon texture is 7 out of 10, but the broth is 10 out of 10.
The sushi, hmm, the tako is fresh and meaty, however I am unsure about the rice texture itself. Def can be better! 8 out of 10
Overall this place is still A-tier for me in its category. Great value with good and pleasant taste!

Read moreMy partner and I visited this restaurant for dinner, and from the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt off. It seemed like we weren’t very welcome. While being stared at can be normal, it became uncomfortable when even the staff were giggling, whispering, and clearly talking about us right in front of us.
We’re both easygoing and extremely polite—having worked in hospitality ourselves, we understand how demanding the job can be. That’s why it’s such a shame, because the food was genuinely delicious. It really proves how much of a difference good service makes.
We felt so uncomfortable that we rushed through our meal just to leave. One of the most upsetting moments was seeing staff mock the way my partner was using chopsticks.
We've been backpacking across Vietnam for the past two weeks and have only had wonderful experiences until now. I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I think it’s important to inform other foreigners who might be...

This type of restaurant reminds me of my time living in Japan, and I’m no stranger to this food.
Ordered the ebi ten as a start, and the firmness of the prawn was decent, the batter felt a little bit harder in crisper than what I usually ordered on the streets of Tokyo during my decade there. Overall still delicious and enjoyable. (25 K)
Second dish was the Katsu curry. Pork was decent, breading was also good and remained crispy throughout the meal. Curry and rice were also decent and I appreciate that the curry came out extra hot which is what I would expect in Japan. At this price point, I can’t complain. (95 K)
Overall, excellent value, heartfelt service, a diverse menu, enjoyment for all.
Would I come back?...
