Longtime residents of this Cho Don area still remember the old Thai Binh market was a spontaneous jagged market, small traders and baskets trading by themselves gathered in groups of markets every early morning. Sparse people lived in the area, then gradually rudimentary stalls were erected with a small local market in what is now a busy intersection of the streets. Cong Quynh - Nguyen Trai and the West Quarter Pham Ngu Lao, District 1 (HCMC). After 1975, District 1 People's Committee embellished and rebuilt Thai Binh market: the market floor was raised more, the stalls in the market mainly displayed jewelry, fabrics, clothes. , shoes, household goods, dry food ......... .... are distributed neatly, with a layer of langur, and the passageway is quite open. Outdoors, behind and on the right side of the market, is the trading area of meat, animals, fresh seafood, vegetables and fruits, fresh flowers, especially close to Cong Quynh Street for the food court, with dishes Attractive specialties and snacks, with very affordable prices, suitable for low-income people. young students of students. Tourists "backpackers", housewives, people living around Thai Binh market often complain about the sanitation here is not good, especially the outdoor area around the market selling meat, fish and vegetables. grass .... too wet, slimy due to stagnant garbage and sewage causing pollution, stinking disease. Hopefully, Thai Binh Market Management Board will soon overcome this shortcoming, in order to face a market in the center of the city, although popular, small, but especially interested by many domestic and foreign tourists when coming to visit. , our...

mbarking on a gastronomic journey across different districts and numerous locales, my quest for the ultimate BBQ pork ball and pork vermicelli has finally met its match here at Thai Minh Market. This hidden gem transcends ordinary culinary expectations, making it a destination that pork enthusiasts cannot afford to miss.

The pork vermicelli, a masterpiece in its own right, stands out with its flawlessly soft texture—a rare find compared to the often dry and semi-soft alternatives encountered in my culinary travels. It's clear that the chefs here have mastered the art of achieving the perfect balance, elevating the dining experience to new heights.

However, the true star of the show is undeniably the pork ball— a culinary symphony in every bite. Juicy, flavorful, and expertly crafted, it has rightfully earned its status as a signature dish. It's no surprise that patrons flock to Thai Minh Market specifically for this delectable creation.

The ambiance of the market, coupled with the tantalizing aroma wafting from the stalls, creates an inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. The dedication to quality and the evident passion for their craft set Thai Minh Market apart, making it a standout destination for discerning food enthusiasts.

In conclusion, if you're a connoisseur of pork-based delights and crave an experience that transcends the ordinary, Thai Minh Market is the haven you've been searching for. Prepare to be captivated by the exceptional BBQ pork ball and pork vermicelli—a culinary journey that promises satisfaction with...

Thái Bình is a small local market. It is a good shopping place if you stay in the backpacker area and manage to bargain properly. Besides the fresh produce that are sold and attractively displayed at the outdoor market, there is also an indoor market that sells processed food, apparel and shoes.

Ben Thanh market's classic Speaking market in Ho Chi Minh City, but the Thai Binh market is located on the opposite side across the park on September 23.

There is a dining area in the Ben Thanh market is likewise no such menu in photo witty, contrasting atmosphere of local and tourist destination.

Cheaper and from around 100 yen - in Japanese yen, such as noodles or sentence for, of course, kind Bainseo and spring rolls, and Machete are many, price is a great place to explore the local B-grade gourmet. May be selected what you want to eat while watching what people cooking and landscape are eating do not need to know the Vietnamese.

Take care of your daily shopping needs at Cho Thai Binh, a great place to get a feel of the city's cuisine. A hidden gem, this market draws mostly local shoppers, flocking here to pick up fresh produce and snacks. This market is the best! Not as big as Ben Thanh (touristy), not as extensive as Cho Lớn (far from Dist 1, almost too big & as result hard to find things) but it is just right. The flavor is all “local” and this so are the prices! No hard haggling or hard sell like Ben Thanh, just goods and services at local prices, its great! I hemmed a pair of pants same day for 30k vnđ $1.26, got sharp folding scissors 15k vnđ $0.63 each, sunsleeves 10k vnd $0.42, gloves 20k vnđ $0.84, pair of mini glass votive candles 15k vnđ $0.63, 2 bundles fresh flowers 40k vnđ $1.68, fresh fruit, etc. I love this market! If you want local prices, friendly vendors and nice selection, this is the place. Also one note: most Asian outdoor markets, especially the meat section, are kind of grimy looking with flies and such. This one was remarkably clean, even the meat area. I mean we seriously didn’t see flies, I couldn’t believe it. This market is the best!

I recently revisited this charming people's market, Thái Bình Market, after 8 years of being away and that's been in my family for three generations! My grandmother started our stall (SẠP 154-155) when the market first opened, and my relatives have maintained her tradition of fair pricing across our diverse array of goods, dry foods, and products. From all the stalls throughout the market, your eyes feast on colorful displays of everything from fresh produce to handcrafted items, and to a whole spectrum of everyday useful goods. Don't worry about language barriers—just point or show a photo, and our friendly vendors (including my relatives!) will happily assist. It's not just our family business but the humblest of vendors and everyday folks buying and selling goods that make up a vibrant community space connecting me to my grandmother's legacy.
