Bai Xep is more like the backyards to the local fishing villages but that's what makes it so interesting and unique....even surreal as you see the cable cars passing over head. The place is filled with old wooden jettys and small sandy sections (though still fraught with the signs of washed up rubbish and local litter), and locals going about their daily life. It's worth not only going to this specific section, but to take some of the very, narrow alleyways and explore what's at the end. Though be careful as sometimes it can be very difficult to turn around on a motorbike and return...some of these alleys lead straight onto wet, soft sand which you don't want to try and ride on, or try to to turn around...
