I book this hotel because of its high rating. But after staying here for 2 nights,i realise the rating is fake, every extra or free service that they provide to you, they ask you to provide 5 star rating to them. This is only 3 stars hotel but the rate of hotel is much expensive compare to others, we are okay to pay for the extra but not worth for their quality of service, we will not come back for the stay again. We booked total 4 rooms for 2 nights, When we arrived, a female receptionist is very rude and no manners towards the guest, she doesnt listen to us but keep telling every single rules in the hotel and every single items is at charged. Misleading conplementary service ,say giving free shuttle bus but with terms and conditions , only.schedule free airport shuttle is providing. With such expensive rate ,i think i can stay in another better hotel. Downgrade guest room, we book a bigger room.size ,they say we cannot add bed so they down grade our room size to a smaller room then can add bed, we pay for expensive rate for bigger room but give us smaller room with add bed (need to.add.extra money somemore!). How can big room cannot add bed but small room can add bed,i don't understand what is the theory behind ,this seemed like a scammer to the guest. They provide buggy service to night market ,we have 15 people, they say only can fetch 10 people, they say they have many guest and they have only 1 buggy so only can fetch 10 people,i think this is quite ridiculous.we book 4 room with added so much extra charges and we also.considered as their guest. They can say ""we can fetch 2 rounds , not only can fetch 10 people". I am very disappointing this is the customer service they are providing. We check in about 6pm and they said their customer service already closed cannot have add bed service to us . they claimed that we have never told them we need add bed service. But agoda cannot have any add bed during booking, usually add bed is when we check.in,this is my first time hear 24h hotel and customer service closed at 5pm ! In agoda ,they said kid 6 years below is free ,but when we arrived, they provide only 1 free kid ,any extra kid even though 6 years below need to be charged, this is another hidden rules. They are wasting my time arguing there 2 hour, i should have spend my quality 2 hour time to visit other place. This is our sincere feedback and i noticed the management said will improved but i did not observe any improvement from them. They just provide you a little extra free service and ask you to delete the bad review. Not really recommend this hotel! With same amount of money,i think other hotel...
Read moreHighly Recommended Stay at Roma Hotel Phu Quoc!
Roma Hotel Phu Quoc is a beautiful and scenic hotel that I highly recommend. The view from the balcony is absolutely cinematic. You can clearly see the fireworks, the cable car, the Kiss Bridge, and the ocean all in one breathtaking panorama!
The location is ideal, just a short walk to popular attractions like Kiss of the Sea and Sarah Halal Food, making it very convenient for Muslim travelers. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained.
1 of the best perks is the free shuttle service, which not only takes you to the best OOTD spots but also to the cable car station.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They even acted as photographers for us, and the photos turned out looking professional! Special thanks to the receptionist who allowed us to check in early at around 11 AM, even though the official check-in time is 2 PM.
A few things to note: Breakfast is non-halal, but you can enjoy your own pre-packed meals at outside café area, where tables are available. Outside food is not allowed in the rooms, and there’s a fine of 4 million VND if this rule is violated. A deposit is required upon check-in. For our 3-night stay in 2 rooms, we paid RM450.
We recommend staying in Sunset Town rather than Grand World. The vibe in Sunset Town is much livelier and picturesque. The drive between the two takes about an hour.
Overall, Roma Hotel stands out in terms of hospitality and aesthetics compared to other hotels in the area. For souvenirs, we highly recommend shopping at KingKong Mart! —great...
Read morePros: Overall, our stay at Roma Hotel was pleasant. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a makeup mirror. As a delightful gesture, the hotel waived the extra person charge for my youngest son, who had just celebrated his 6th birthday. The location of our room was ideal, offering a fantastic view of the nighttime firecracker show. From the balcony, we could also enjoy the breathtaking sight of the deep blue sea and the Hon Thom cable car. The breakfast spread offered a variety of choices, and the taste was satisfactory. Cons: Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication regarding the free cable car tickets included in our booking. I had made the reservation last year when the promotion for complimentary tickets was active, meaning we were still eligible this year. However, upon our arrival at 4:30 PM, we were informed by the receptionist that the tickets could only be redeemed before 3:00 PM on the day of check-in. This meant we couldn’t claim the tickets for the next day and had to wait until March 17th instead. Since we had already planned and booked tickets for the safari on that day, this was quite upsetting. Despite having contacted the hotel multiple times via email about this issue, the policy was never mentioned. Thankfully, Ms. Quyen, the hotel supervisor, resolved the situation by personally covering the cost of complimentary tickets for us. We were incredibly grateful for her help and deeply appreciated her efforts to make...
