Bad service experience and dishonest staff. The restaurant had a great sea view for fireworks show.

The incident happened when we ordered 5 coconut drinks which was not serve chilled. The restaurant has no air conditioning and it was pretty hot over 30 degrees. When we realized the coconut came warm we asked for cold coconut. They said it’s opened cannot change. Then we want to cancel it and take it off our order. The staff said cannot it is already open, which we understand, it is really hard to take a warm coconut drink and then they said. They do not have cold coconut so cannot change or refund. They stressed a lot it is already opened.

The restaurant is pretty big and in a tourist area it is hard to believe they do not put coconut in refrigerators. It is not like we are buying from a night market. Even night market serve their coconut cold.

After around 5 staff coming over to tell us cannot change and no cancel. Finally a lady staff came said ok to and took our coconut away.

When we finished all our food and it’s time to go. Came the bill. Showing 5 coconut on the bill. This is when we felt dishonesty from the staff. Back to square 1 no cancel because opened. Negotiate again and again. They said give us 10% discount and we stood our ground because a staff told us they will cancel it. Another staff came in with a loud voice and said we drink the coconut cannot cancel. Then we shake and put out the coconut water. 1 was empty and we said we can pay for 1 coconut but not all 5. Another round of negotiation they end up letting us go and settled paying for 2 coconut.

Do not go here if you looking for good hospitality or service. The menu is expensive and you get street food service. Night market people...

My experience at Sorrento Restaurant and Bar was disappointing. We ordered several coconuts, expecting cold, refreshing drinks, but they were served lukewarm, which was a letdown. When we raised the issue, the staff offered to add ice to the coconut water, which we declined as it wasn’t an adequate solution. They informed us that refunds were not possible and provided only a 10% discount on the coconuts, which felt insufficient. After we expressed our dissatisfaction, a female staff member said they could cancel the coconut order and took them away. We ordered replacement drinks, but when the bill arrived, the coconuts were still listed alongside the new drinks, with the staff insisting there was no cancellation. To be frank, the prices are not cheap, which I can understand given the restaurant’s location offers a view of the fireworks. However, the high cost doesn’t justify the poor customer service and unchilled drinks. The lack of accountability and subpar service left much to be desired. Very overpriced for what they offer, we Had a Steak some fried noodles and Some fried chicken, the Chicken was tasteless Like Something you buy from a Supermarket Frozen witch it probably was. The Steak was a bit overcooked but the quality of the meat was good, but thats of the sausce was abizmal, probably Industrial Made Frozen tated Like absolutely nothing. The Decoration (vegetables) also tasted Like nothing we debated If it was even edible or not. I wanted Something Salt for my stake and fries, we waited 10 minutes untill my Steak was cold and then Had to ask again to be then given wet Salt that was almost Impossible to get Out of the Salt Shaker. To Finish on a positive Note the Fried noodles we're okay. And to add a Note at the end there we're more then plenty of staff around so they could have a good service, but one Just started blankley into the room and the Others talking to each other and it really seemed Like the floor managed did Most of the Work herself and didn't really Split...
