ADM Ayamitre Hotel — Hotel in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

We got a room in the first floor and we could hear all the noise from the street and also from the reception. After not sleeping at all at the first night we asked to be moved to another room and we got a room on the 7th floor. The noise was reduced, but still we could hear it. ||The carpet floor on both rooms had a lot of stains. The toilet seats on both rooms were old and needed to be changed. ||On the first room the mirror on the bathroom was cracked. ||On the 7th floor the cleaning started at 8:30am on sunday morning and we could not sleep anymore with the vacuum cleaner noise! ||Wi-fi only works at the reception floor. ||Breakfast consists of media lunas and toast, ham/cheese, coffee, tea and industrialized orange juice.||The staff at the reception however is very nice and try to help us as they could.||||The location was good for me because I had family issues to solve around the Congreso area, but I do not recommend this hotel for tourists, as many of the tourist sites are fram away...

Eligirlo solamente si pensas pasar el tiempo minimo de tu estadia en el hotel.

Los puntos buenos que puedo destacar son que es bueno para dormir, no tuve ninguna incomodidad con la cama (supongo que es una cuestion personal de cada uno), y el baño tenia buena presion de agua en la ducha y funcionaba correctamente el agua caliente.

Los puntos malos son que me ofrecieron una habitacion especifica (habitacion numero tanto) con cama matrimonial al reservar via wpp, y al llegar me dieron otra habitacion (numero diferente) y dos camas separadas. Reclame y me dieron, por una noche, una habitacion con cama matrimonial pero sin TV, luego las otras 3 noches me llevaron a la misma habiatcion inicial solo que unieron las camas para simular una matrimonial. No sirvio de mucho ya que el espacio que separaba las camas era molesto y termine usando solo un lado de la improvisada "cama matrimonial". Esta ultima habitacion tenia TV, pero era de las viejas TV de tubo, asi que no me servia para conectar la notebook para ver algo o entretenerme viendo alguna pelicula. Algo mas a destacar que es importantisimo es que los tomacorrientes estan muy mal ubicados, a veces ni siquiera hay cerca de la cama, o no hay suficientes, y el wifi casi no andubo en todo el tiempo que estuve en el hotel, debo haberlo usado como mucho 2hs en alguna tarde de algun día. Esto fue así en ambas habitaciones.

Un punto bueno es que la atencion del personal fue agradable, eso si da cierta comodidad, y la ubicacion es buena y, al menos en el tiempo que me hospede, fue tranquila.

Dicho todo esto, los puntos buenos no compensan los malos, por eso repito y aclaro sin exagerar, si piensan pasar el menor, el minimo, y solo el necesario tiempo posible en el hotel, para la necesidad de dormir y baño, y no tienen otras alternativas a un precio similar o un poco...

My wife (Argentina) and I (USA) had problems leaving Buenos Aires without our infant son (Argentine-born) and had to find a place to stay quick. The friendly night manager at Hotel Ayamitre helped us out big time! We just needed a room for the morning and day, so they didn't even charge us the full fare. He encouraged us to take full advantage of the breakfast, and the central location allowed us to get some last minute errands done quickly. The rooms were old (probably updated last in the 90s), but clean and quiet. I would wager it's the best hotel for the price...
