Chalet Motel Brunswick Heads — Hotel in Brunswick Heads

We stayed at Chalet Brunswick for 1 night. We had 4 ladies in a room just talking at a reasonable level. The owner/worker (from reading other reviews I think it’s Harry as I’ve seen the way he is speaking to everyone on their reviews) came and told us to not be so noisy. The walls are so thin you can hear everything. We heard our neighbours throwing up and even the kettle turning on. In the morning he banged on our door and when we opened it he yelled abuse at us telling us we’re disgusting ferals spitting in our face whilst yelling and told us to get out and was almost on the verge of a mental breakdown! The way he spoke to us was totally uncalled for and he obviously has no respect for woman or anyone to that matter! We have never been treated or spoken to like that from anyone and never had a problem anywhere we’ve stayed before! By reading previous reviews you can see how he speaks back to his guests on his reply to them! He is arrogant and rude! This also isn’t the first complaint on how rude he is either! Only wish we read reviews before we booked. It’s definitely not worth the $300 a night we paid. We weren’t aware we were only allowed to stay if we just slept the whole time we were there and didn’t speak! As we left our booking was also gone from bookings.com, assuming he’d cancelled it making it harder for us to leave a review! I look forward to his reply on here as he already threatened me...

Terrible! This place is absolutely false advertising I booked a family room online and it made it look like we had an apparetment when I arrived I told them I had just booked online the staff were talking in French and not even to me while I stood there confused then they went on to answer the phone before even welcoming me.. I finally was taken one single room with one bed in it I had told them this was incorrect because I had booked a family room for 4 people and showed them the pictures they then took me to two other rooms that wasn't enough beds for 4 people.. finally when we were taken to the room they said was the family room it was two tiny rooms next to each other and had to ask for the door inbetwee to be unlocked so that it could slightly resemble a family room. The fan in my room was over the top of the light so if you had both on at the same time it was like a strobe light. I do not...

Would not stay here again. Customer service was terrible. I sent a message to the motel the morning of as my 3 year old had come down with a vomiting bug asking if we could change our dates. All the motel sent me back was a message saying “request declined”.

The room was tidy and clean yes but the beds were very uncomfortable, not enough bedding in winter, we had to sleep in jumpers too, the water pressure in the shower was a trickle. Not what you pay $285 per night for in the middle of winter. Thinking back to it we should have just stayed at a nicer hotel or air b and b for that price and that level of service.

Rooms were paper thin. Could hear the guests next door talking all night.

I was honestly appalled by the blunt message back when we were going through a tough time.

Location was great but we wouldn’t stay here again. Reflections is in such a better spot with a better service...
